Stage 1 (1/2) Frilled Neck Lizards - Miss Stevenson Midya: For her determination and effort in Writing. Chiamuel: For being a kind and helpful friend. Stage 1 (1/2) Dingos - Mrs Betts Amis: For always giving every task his best. Sabreen: For trying very hard in writing tasks. Stage 2 (3/4) Kangaroos - Ms Ryan Bahzad: For being focused and on task in classroom learning activities. Emelia: For being ready to learn in all classroom activities. Stage 2 (3/4) Koalas - Mrs McIntyre Ivan: For her enthusiasm for learning. Khairy: For working hard to create great sentences. Stage 3 (5/6) Quokkas - Mr Williams Zimo: For being a great and helpful friend to people in our class who need it. Logan: For taking his teacher's advice and working hard to achieve his best. Stage 3 (5/6) Galahs - Mr D’Gluyas Oliver: For being focused during literacy sessions and producing great work. Inoke: For helping others understand difficult maths concepts. MC - Kookaburras - Mrs Rothschild Izzac: For effort in class. EALD/Spike - Mrs Craven and Mrs Paris Enas: For his hard work and the wonderful progress he has made with his reading! Edward: For being willing to get involved and making us all smile at his wonderful solutions using Makey Makey circuits. Library - Mrs Anderson Bentley: For remembering to return his library books and being a keen borrower. AEO - Ms Cutmore Rowan: For being an enthusiastic learner in our Recondiliation Week activities. T hank you to the parents who joined us for our Zoom Gathering last week. Inside today you will see many of the photos. We will place the instructions in next week’s newsletter on Monday hoping to assist other parents join us for our last Gathering for this term on Friday 26 June. Hopefully we may be able to resume Gatherings in the hall face to face next term. I will keep you up dated on this. B reakfast club has resumed and all children are welcome for toast and cereal between 8.30 and 8.55am each morning. A huge thank you to the teachers who have volunteered their mornings to provide this for the students. Next term, if you have a spare 30 minutes one morning and would like to assist in Breakfast club, please let me know. We would love to have you assist. W e have sourced some warm winter girls pants as part of the uniform. Next week in the middle spread of the newsletter we will have photos of all uniform pieces available and their prices. We have been informed that the material for our Sports T-shirt has actually made it to Australia but is stuck on the docks in Sydney, however they are hopeful they will get the material soon and then our sports shirts will be available. I f your child is sick please keep them at home until their symptoms have cleared. If you have any tests done please inform the school as to the results and remember to bring in your doctors medical certificates. Thank you for informing the school as to your child’s absences. T he teachers are busily finishing off your child’s reports for Semester 1. These will be sent home in week ten and teachers will be available to answer any questions you may have about your child’s learning this term.
