Dear Vincentian Parents,

Everyday we are being updated by our governor and mayor of how we are doing as both city and state.

As for schools, as of TODAY, JULY 5, 2020, we are still preparing for our reopen in August. As I

previously mentioned, due to all the factors and information needed to plan as COVID-19 issues

unfold, the comprehensive SVS START SMART Plan is a working document and we need to be ready

for those plans to also change as things arise.

I also stated on June 15, 2020, that our ministry is to educate our children, but our first priority is the

safety of our students, our faculty and our staff. We must be proactive and be prepared during these

ever-changing times to continue educating our students if and when circumstances change, as

predicted, throughout the year related to the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff. As of

today, July 5, 2020, St. Vincent School plans to return as a Social Distancing/Hybrid model

(“Hybrid Class”). We will have our student body in two cohorts: Monday/Tuesday and

Wednesday/Thursday. I know that some of you are still not comfortable with a hybrid program. Once

we get closer to the end of this month, I will be sending a survey to each family where you will inform

me if your children will come in to the Hybrid Class or continue remotely.

With all the changes as mentioned previously we will definitely keep you posted weekly with our

Sunday Newsletters and flyers on Monday. I encourage you to please READ our weekly

newsletters and flyers, frequently visit our webpage, and follow our social media for up to date and

accurate information. Our priority is to keep everyone safe while not making life more difficult for

you.

Our goal is to find the best way to have our students safely in our buildings as frequently as possible to

ensure the health and well-being of all. We will continue to work on the SVS START SMART PLAN

and keep you updated. Thank you for your continued support and prayers as we strive to do what is

best for ALL of our students and faculty and staff during these challenging times.

Estimados Padres Vicentinos:

Todos los días nuestro gobernador y alcalde nos informan sobre cómo nos está yendo como ciudad y

estado. En cuanto a las escuelas, a partir de HOY, 5 de Julio de 2020, todavía nos estamos preparando

para nuestra reapertura en Agosto. Como mencioné anteriormente, debido a todos los factores e

información necesarios para planificar a medida que se desarrollan los problemas de COVID-19, el

completo Plan SVS START SMART es un documento de trabajo y debemos estar preparados para que

esos planes también cambien a medida que surjan las cosas.

También dije el 15 de Junio de 2020 que nuestro ministerio es educar a nuestros hijos, pero nuestra

primera prioridad es la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes, nuestra facultad y nuestro personal.

Debemos ser proactivos y estar preparados durante estos tiempos siempre cambiantes para continuar

educando a nuestros estudiantes si las circunstancias cambian, como se predijo, durante todo el año en

relación con la salud y la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes, profesores y personal. A partir de hoy, 5

de Julio de 2020, la Escuela San Vicente planea regresar como modelo de distancia social /

híbrido ("Clase híbrida"). Tendremos nuestros alumnados en dos cohortes: Lunes / Martes y

Miércoles / Jueves. Sé que algunos de ustedes todavía no se sienten cómodos con un programa híbrido.

Una vez que nos acerquemos al final de este mes, enviaré una encuesta a cada familia donde me

informarán si sus hijos ingresarán a la Clase Híbrida o continuarán de manera remota.

Con todos los cambios mencionados anteriormente, definitivamente lo mantendremos

informados semanalmente con nuestros boletines y volantes del Domingo y Lunes. Les

recomiendo que LEAN nuestros boletines y volantes semanales, visite con frecuencia nuestra página

web y siga nuestras redes sociales para obtener información actualizada y precisa. Nuestra prioridad es

mantener a todos a salvo sin hacer la vida más difícil para ustedes.

Nuestro objetivo es encontrar la mejor manera de tener a nuestros estudiantes de manera segura en

nuestros edificios con la mayor frecuencia posible para garantizar la salud y el bienestar de todos.

We have solved the technical issues with Smarty Antz. However, we are still working on

DreamBox. DREAMBOX is on hold until the issues are fixed. ALL STUDENTS can work on

their ELA enrichment program beginning today.

All of you have your log in and hopefully you have not forgotten or lost your username and

passwords for the three online components you will be using. If you have lost either information

please email Mrs. Logan. She will assist you in obtaining these usernames and passwords.
