Demonstration events
Classification principle• Players are classified into each of four
performance categories based on both skill and function.
• 1-point: players who are not able to reach the regular junior height basket;
• 2 points: players who have limited function and skill;
• 3 points: for players who have good function but limited skill or limited function and good skill;
• 4 points: stand for players who have moderate to good skill and good function.
• 14 points are allowed on court during the game time.
Rule book• Generally the rules of junior basketball apply
with main basket height set at 2.55 meters. • Additional low baskets (1.20 meters height) are
located at the center of the zone's base line. Shooting into the low baskets is only allowed to the 1-point players.
• Screening 1-point players while shooting is only allowed to other 1-point players. Time limits in the zone do not apply to these players. Screening 1-point players by a higher category results in a 2-minute discharge penalty.
• Offensive players are required to cross the midline within 24 seconds.
• Only personal defense is permitted – from the midline.
The twin-basket principle• The lower
basket is added below
• and behind the regular basketOnly 1-point
defense players are allowed to
screen offense 1-
point players
