WelcomeWelcome to the Wonderware Industry Pack for Water and Wastewater Demo!

This demo will help you to illustrate the use of the Wonderware Industry Pack for Water and Wastewater.

This demo makes use of a number of Wonderware products including InTouch 10.0, Application Server 3.0, the Wonderware Historian 9.0 and the ActiveFactory 9.2 Analysis Tools, leveraging the powerful ArchestrA technology in System Platform.

While this demo app uses the same navigation framework as the SCADA demo, this is a simplified version that focuses on the Industry Pack itself. A new version integrating GIS and reporting will become available at a later date.

This document provides you with the corresponding requirements and instructions to setup the demo application in your machine.

FeaturesHere are some of the characteristics of this demo:

1. Security. The demo uses Galaxy security.

The password for all users is “ww”, including the administrator’s.

2. Navigation

The demo provides two ways to move around the different application windows: You can use the tabs to move to selected windows. When displaying the Map window, you can select an asset and launch the window

specific to that location.

Note: Selecting the “Process” tab displays the last asset specific window.

3. ArchestrA graphics. All asset windows make use of InTouch 10 ArchestrA graphics from the Industry Pack

for Water and Wastewater. You will notice that in addition to graphical representation of components, faceplates

are available for selected items. These faceplates are also ArchestrA Graphics. You can launch the faceplates and operate components, turn thing from auto to

manual, start and stop pumps, open and close valves, etc.
