The Sign is falling!Curtis TownshipLibrary needs yourhelp right now!As you can see ourbuilding sign is fallingdown. We need toreplace it this fall beforethe snow flies. We’vemanaged toaccumulate all the

materials (donated by generous friends) to build a masonrysign (smaller than the one we have now– but large enoughto do the job). We’ve found a person to dig the hole.Another person has already built the foundation form. Butnow we need a person or persons to pour the 42” deepfoundation (about 7 cubic feet of concrete) and then buildthe concrete block wall as shown on the right. The wall isonly 7 feet long and about48” above the ground. It’san easy job for the folkswho do masonry work.Time is getting short. If youwould care to volunteeryour time to do a gooddeed to benefit the librarywe would be very grateful. If you can help, please getin touch with Moira Maus atthe library ( 989-735-2601 )ASAP. The library hasalways been there for you.Now is the time for you tobe there for the library!
