levels!• Expectations have moved up significantly – generally
about a year ahead than now.• This means some children who were working at national
average before will now be assessed at below average.• We will be working hard to fill any gaps and accelerate

KS1:•Children are expected to spend 10 minutes reading to an adult 5x a week.•Children will be expected to practise key words and look for words that contain the phonic sound they have been learning in class.•Children will be learning their number bonds and times tables (2s, 5s and 10s) and will be expected to be able to recall these off by heart.•Additional home learning will be in the form of small tasks related to the current topic.

SanctionsSanctionsFoundation Stage and KS1: 1. Verbal warnings or reprimand (child is told that their behaviour is not acceptable and the reason why)2. Moved to ‘Orange’ then ‘Red’ on class traffic light system (or similar)3. Move/isolate in class 4. Temporary relocation to another class/area for up to 10 minutes. May include playtime. 5. Child sent to Key Stage Leader and parents informed by the class teacher that day.6. Child seen by Deputy Head or Head Teacher and parents informed.7. Exclusion; all exclusions will follow DFE guidelines. •

Trips, Enrichment fund and PSATrips, Enrichment fund and PSA• Please make £8 payments to the enrichment fund
either by parentpay or sending in cash.
Enrichment Fund:Funds whole school , year group and class events that enrich and extend the curriculum.
Educational Visits PSA:Provide us with extras through fundraising events which are outside of school hours eg. Discos, Chirstmas and summer fairs, mothers day tray sale.

These rely on voluntary contributions from parent/ carers. Without these we cannot go ahead with planned visits. Financial support may be available on request.
