BRILLA JESÚS BRILLA
Oh, Jesús Brilla en mi vida
Ilumina nuestro camino
Que tu Luz guie nuestros pasos
Como el sol ilumina la tierra
Brilla en mí, Brilla en mí
Brilla Jesús, llénanos de tu amor y gracia
Llena de paz nuestro corazón
Consolador, llénanos de poder y gloria
Recibe hoy Nuestra Adoración
Hoy venimos a tu presencia
De tinieblas a Luz nos llamas
Con tu sangre nos has rescatado
Nuestra deuda en la Cruz has pagado
Brilla en mí, Brilla en mí
TU PALABRA,
Tú has venido a la orilla,
no has buscado ni a sabios ni a ricos,
tan solo quieres que yo te siga.
Jesús, me has mirado a los ojos;
sonriendo has dicho mi nombre
en la arena he dejado mi barca
junto a ti buscare otro mar.
Tú sabes bien lo que tengo:
en mi barca no hay oro ni espadas;
tan solo redes y mi trabajo.
Tú necesitas mis manos,
mi cansancio que a otros descanse’
amor que quiera seguir amando.
Tú Pescador de otros mares,
ansia eterna de almas que esperan.
Amigo bueno, que así me llamas.
HAZME UN INSTRUMENTO DE TU PAZ
Hazme un instrumento de tu paz
donde hay odio lleve yo tu amor
donde hay injuria tu perdón señor
donde haya duda fe en ti
Maestro ayúdame a nunca buscar

do.
Tu Elegido - nuestro Señor y nuestro hermano.
mana, especialmente Yvonne Lodge, Norberto Gadea, Wayne Griffin Jr., Victory Moreno, Ana María Pela-

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE
All knowledge is yours, O God, and you know us better than we know ourselves - yet you have chosen us
and called us to follow of the path of Christ. If we lose faith in ourselves as your children forgive and re-
stores us. If we lose faith in your pervasive goodness and mercy, bring us to a right mind and give us a deep
trust in your love and power. Indeed fill us and use us; fill us and use us to be bringers of light, a people who
shine in the darkness and who are not afraid.... Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer...
We thank you God for all those people who have shared the hope that is within them. We thank you for those
who first told us about you and about Jesus and the healing that comes through him. Lord in your mercy.
Hear our prayer
We thank you for those who shared your love with us and who showed us the way to the fuller and richer life
you offer to all people through Christ. Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer
We thank you for those who told us that he is the Lamb of God - the one who takes away the sin of the world.
We thank you for the ones who told us that he was a great teacher - and those who taught us that he is your
Chosen One - our Lord as well as our brother. Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer
We ask your blessing to be upon those who witnessed to us and for you to encourage and bring peace and joy
to all those who this day share their faith with others. Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer
Let your gentle spirit be upon this nation and upon all in authority throughout the world; that they may share
in your work to bring forth justice upon the earth. Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, grant your blessing upon members of this parish who are celebrating birthday this week, especial-
ly, Yvonne Lodge, Norberto Gadea, Wayne Griffin Jr., Victory Moreno, Ana María Pelalez, Uriel Escarbore,
Roberto Chávez, that they may rejoice with your love and peace. Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer.

Father, we thank you for how you listen to your children and grant to them every good thing they ask in the
name of Christ Jesus. We thank you – and we hold before you now those special concerns - and special joys
that are upon our hearts today. Hear now Lord our prayers....
- for those who grieve today (You may add their names quietly or aloud)
- for those who suffer from cancer (You may add their names quietly or aloud)
- for those who have family problems and need wisdom and strength... (You may add their names quietly or
aloud)
- for undocumented people in this nation and in the world.
Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer
We pray, O Lord, for our men and women of our Armed Forces:
Almighty God, we commend to your gracious care and keeping all the men and women of our
armed forces at home and abroad, especially: _______. Defend them day by day with your
heavenly grace; strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the
perils, which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may
be.
Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer.
Father, we pray for those who were lifted up today in this Church of your presence; for those who came to
our minds as we listened to your word being read or whose names arose unbidden as we sang a hymn. We
lift these and those who were named in our sharing time up to you now O God and pray that the blessings of
your healing, your peace, your joy, may be upon those who are sick, or in grief, or struggling with unhappi-
ness or fear about the morrow. Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer
We pray for the blessings of the earth and the justice of your kingdom upon those who hunger or thirst for
the things of daily living: food, water, shelter, hope, and love; and ask that your watchful eye and gentle
hand be upon those who we love with a very special love....
We remember before you Aurora, Pat, Francis, Marilyn, Ester, Sunny, Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer
Praise be unto you, O God, for believing in us - for loving us. Help us to love with your own most dear love
-- and to do all that we do as Jesus would do it. We ask it in his most blessed name. Amen

Pledge Card
A pledge is a commitment to give one's time, tal-ents, and money as an expression of faith and a
personal response to God's generosity. A pledge is a statement of intent, not a legal obligation. It can
be changed at any time. Paul says in his second letter to the Corinthians 9:7 “Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giv-
er.” Holy Faith needs your pledge to help Jesus ful-fill His ministry and to meet our financial obliga-
tions. Please fill out the Pledge Card you received with your Stewardship letter, or pick up one from the Narthex, mail it to the office or place it in the collection plate during the service. May the Lord
bless you.
