.................................................To whom it may concern:……………………………………… It has been my pleasure and honor over quite a few years now to offer monthly Masses for the St. Thomas More Society of Santa Clara County. The group is intended to give Catholic lawyers and those who have an interest in faith and ethics and justice an opportunity to communicate, with God and with each other. Part of the purpose of the St. Thomas More Society is to share prayer and the food of companionship as well. The Mass at Santa Clara is on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 am in the Francis Xavier chapel in the back of the Mission Church, with an outside door. Our next Mass will be on the morning of Sept. 9 at 7 am. If you wish to attend, please let me know a few days ahead of time at [email protected] so that enough breakfasts may be ordered. If you wish personal notifications, the President of the St. Thomas More Society sends out a monthly notice to help remind you. Thank you… Paul J. Goda, S.J. Emeritus Professor of Law School of Law Santa Clara University

2014 – 2015 CLASS REPRESENTATIVE CANDIDATES Vote on eCampus on 9/9 and 9/10
1L Class Representative Candidates:
Hello everyone! My name is Brit Benjamin and I am running for 1L Class Representative. It is a privilege to be here at SCU Law. I am pursuing this role so that I may be of service to this exciting community of legal professionals that we have recently joined. As 1Ls, we have just arrived at Santa Clara and are in a unique position to contribute to the evolution of our campus culture. We have the proverbial “beginner’s mind” and have the opportunity to use that fresh perspective to contribute to the ongoing awesomeness of the law school community. If elected, I will actively solicit the insights of my peers and advocate for the collective interests of our class within the student government. Listening is the basis of effective leadership, followed by advocacy. I can promise both. I hope that you will elect me as your 1L Class Representative so that I may serve and support the 1L class to the best of my ability. Thank you for your time and please vote Brit Benjamin for 1L Class Representative!
