Wallace and Gromit

Wallace and Gromit is a British animation series, created by director Nick Park. Set in Lancashire, England, it centres on Wallace, an absent-minded inventor, and his silent dog, Gromit. The first film was released in 1990. The series has received several Academy nominations and awards.

Wallace

He usually wears a white shirt, brown wool trousers, a green sweater and a red tie.

Wallace is a homely, Lancashire man who loves tea, and Wenseleydale cheese and has a passion for inventions – which invariably go wrong!.

Gromit

He is very attached to his master and remains always loyal to him. One of his most characteristic features is that he doesn’t speak (he doesn’t have a mouth) - he only communictes through facial expressions and body language

Gromit is a very intelligent and resourceful little dog. A graduate from “Dogwarts University”, he enjoys reading, knitting and is very skillful at handling electronic equipment.

The Wallace and Gromit series uses clay animation, with a “stop motion” or “frame by frame” technique.
