Job Title: Bridge Resident Engineer. Duties & Res.: Leadership for Inspection team contains surveying Team and Roads Inspector and documents control for the works, Review Shop drawing. Project Des: The project will connect the existing Cairo Ring Road and the district of Shubra with the Cairo-Alexandria , A total length of 35 km , Eight lanes, four in each direction , Service road on both sides , Alignment for twin-track light rail , Two major bridges across the River Nile with approximate spans of 300 meters (Cable Stayed With Steel Deck – Arch Steel Bridge) and about 30 small bridges and embankments, Six major intersections (Steel Structures-Box Section – Prestressed Precast Beam-Slab on Piles – Geosynthetics and Reinforced Soil)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Follow of implementation on site with all engineers (at least 80% of the day).
Determine the daily tasks for engineers and subcontractors. Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations. Ensure that all the works carried out is done in accordance to the latest approved drawings and programs of work. Coordinate with the main contractor’s site/project engineers for any site related issues and concerns. Coordinate with the material coordinator for ensuring the materials are available at that time of use. Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications. Ensure that all the problems are tackled effectively along with the cooperation of engineers. Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any
subcontractors. Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise. Receipt of the work that carried out by the subcontractors in accordance with shop drawings, code and
specifications. Prepare weekly report and submit it to Zone manager for review and actions. Responsible for setting out all civil works and review with the main contractor engineers. Responsible for follow-up all needs of the site.
