• Who is Cathie Matthews, why is she presenting?• Why would I use powerpoints with Kindergarten?• What do my power points look like?• How do I create them?• How are they used?• Who are they for?• What else ?

KCA’s powerpoints
What do our ‘Powerpoints’ look like?
I find my powerpoints useful for many reasons:
• They are like an ongoing class scrapbook.• They help me to really listen • They document the learning. record children’s thinking, wonderings and growing understanding.• A great tool for reflecting
I recommend creating Powerpoints with the children
Powerpoint help me to really listen, show I am interested and document the learning.
My mum and Dad and my brothers Toby and Sam are
important because they care for me, they are really nice
and they share.I love little pet shop toys. They
are really small. They are important and special to me.
I am interested in making craft with beads, because it is really
fun when you get to iron them.Harriet

What do you see, think wonder?
What is a scientist?Finn: They do experiments to find out stuff. A scientist is a person with a white apron. It can be a boy or a girl. I have seen scientists do experiments about fossils.A scientist is a person who thinks a lot, reads a lot of science books, think before doing experiments. I was a good scientist. I tried experiments on the lab to find out about pushes and pulls. I learned that if you push or pull hard something will go very fast but if you pull and push slow it goes slow.Victor: I don’t know. Caring? Scientists can make blow rocket, balloon, blow painting with straws, We are learning about science and making things move. I was a good scientist. When you blow through the straw , it makes the straw fly very fast. I like doing experiments to find out about lots of things.Seung Joon: Um, no I don’t know.Scientists are observing. Observe means looking. They look what they are doing. They are thinking. I was a good scientist, I did lots of experiments with push and pull and water and swing. I know you need to push the swing to make it move.Itsuki: Scientists make books, write lots of things, like information like animal and insects. He has a brown hat.Scientists do experiments to know about pushes and pulls and make forces. I was a scientist. I did lots of experiments like blow the ball to make it go far.Raya: Finds out load s of things and sometimes they like to make stuff to find out stuff.A scientist is a person that invented pushes and pulls. I was a scientist. I pushed and pulled things. I found out how to make a blow rocket, if you blow out the rocket goes on an pointed angle.
I used to think and now I think..Compare our thinking from beginning to end of unit.
How do I create them?
