•Pushthenewdomeasfaraspossibleontothespeaker.

Cleaning the custom moldCleanyourcustommoldaftereveryusebywipingitwithadrycloth.Inmostcases,thereisaholethroughthecustommold(belowthespeakerunit).Thisisthevent.Iftheventispluggedwithwax,insertthecleaningtool(supplied)fromtheoppositeend(nearestthespeakerwire),andpushthroughtoremovethewax.
Replacethewaxprotection(WaxStop)wheneverneededfollowingthisprocedure:
1)TakethestickwiththenewWaxStoponit(1). Ontheoppositeendisaremovalsocketfor theusedWaxStop(2).

2)Inserttheremovalsocket(2)intotheopening oftheusedWaxStopandpullitslowlyout. Keepthestickstraight.
3)ToinsertthenewWaxStopturnthestickaround andplacethenewfilterinthesoundoutletand gentlyremovethestick.

Cell phone and hearing instrument compatibility
Somehearinginstrumentusershavereportedabuzzingsoundintheirinstrumentswhentheyareusingcellphones,indicatingthatthecellphoneandhearinginstrumentmaynotbecompatible.
Thecompatibilityofaparticularhearingaidandcellphonecanbepredictedbyaddingtheratingforthehearingaidimmunitytotheratingforthecellphoneemissions(ANSIC63.19-2006AmericanNationalStandardMethodsofMeasurementofCompatibilitybetweenWirelessCommunicationDevicesandHearingAids).
Forexample,thesumofahearingaidwitharatingof2(M2/T2)andatelephonewitharatingof3(M3/T3)wouldresultinacombinedratingof5.Accordingtothestandard,anycombinedratingthatequalsatleast5wouldprovide“normaluse”;acombinedratingof6orgreaterwouldindicate“excellentperformance.”

Yourhearinginstrumentshavealimitedwarranty,coveringdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanship.Thiswarrantycoversthehearinginstrumentsthemselves,butnotaccessoriessuchasbatteries,tubing,earmolds,etc.
Thiswarrantyisvoidifadefectistheresultofmisuseormistreatment.Thewarrantyisalsovoidifthehearinginstrumentshavebeenrepairedbynonauthorizedservicepersonnel.
Pleasereviewthewarrantywithyourhearingcareprofessionalandmakesurethatyourwarrantycardiscompletedcorrectly.
