Vision, Mission, Values

The practical articulation in everyday behavior of our vision, mission and values is what guides our decisions, and shapes our lives and the lives around us. The value of our lives is the sum of the decisions we make.

1. Our vision, mission, and values determine what is most important to us.

2. Knowing what’s important allows us to prioritize.3. Knowing priorities enables us to act decisively.

Vision – Begin with the end in mind. Imagine a destination worth going to.

Vision Statement – A picture of how things will look in the future.

Mission – How we will get to our vision.People – Who is in our circle of influence? Who are our mentors? Who are our successors, disciples and protégés?Path – What route will we take to accomplish our vision?Plan – Describe the timeline, phases and goals. Make them easily measurable, and rehearse old wins.Purpose – Why we are here?

Values – The core beliefs that force one to make a decision between two or more viable optionsPrinciples – How we put our values into action to manage our businessExample of values: Integrity, passion for excellence, stewardship, respect, collaboration, life long learning, innovation

AspirationIt is the power of aspiration that causes change to continue.Aspiration produces sustained achievement.The greater the thing we aspire to, the greater our achievement.
