USER MANUAL FOR STUDENT ADMISSION SYSTEM (SAS)
KOLEJ UNIVERSITI ISLAM PERLIS (KUIPs)
ONLINE APPLICATION
Online Application form is a platform used to allow student to apply to study in the KUIPs via online
http://sas.syskuips.my/index2.php.
New applicant must register first before been able to proceed with the application.
There are two ways to register the account either through any agent registration or click directly from
KUIPs website (http://kuips.edu.my/)
STEP 1:
Click “SignUp for New
Applicant” for new application
STEP 2:
Enter all required information to sign up
• Enter Fullname
• Enter Surname
• Enter NRIC/Password
• Select Nationality
• Enter Password
• Enter Confirmation Password
• Enter email
• Enter Mobile Number
Click “Sign Up”
System will notify the applicant on the account registration via email.
Applicant is also required to validate the email before sign in to the Online Application form. Once the
account has been activated, student able to login to the application form using NRIC/Passport and
password as registered in signup form as stated in figure A,B, C and D as below.

STEP 3:
Applicant will be redirected to the Application Form as shown below.
Note:
A. Applicant must complete all section.
B. Applicant may click READ INSTRUCTION (LOCAL APPLICANT/INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT) as
state below.
Applicant must complete all information (in ALL SECTION) state in online application form.
3.1 SECTION A : PROFILE
In the PROFILE page in SECTION A, the form is divided into four categories for local applicant and
five categories for international applicant which are, personal details, contact details,
correspondence home address, parent or guardian information and International pass details
(ONLY FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT).
IMPORTANT NOTE :
• In this SECTION A, applicant MUST upload below documents (applicable for both applicant Local
and International Applicant)
• Click SAVE and page will directly go to NEXT page (Section B) refer below:

3.2 SECTION B : PROGRAMME PREFERENCES
In the program preferences, system will list down the programs. Applicant may refer to the Entry
Requirement Information state as below.
Click SAVE & NEXT
3.3 SECTION C : ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
• Select qualification.
• For Local Applicant you may add your SPM or STPM or STAM or any equivalent certificates.
• For International Applicant select your “Level of Qualification” (i.e: Secondary Studies or etc)
• Select your transfer credit (if applicable)
• You must upload all required document/transcript based on your qualification stated in this
section.
• Click ADD to add your academic qualification, UPLOAD TRANSCRIPT and click NEXT button to
proceed to next page

3.4 SECTION D : ENGLISH LANGUAGE COMPETENCY
• Select type of “English Language Competency”. (i.e: MUET, TOEFL and/ or etc) if applicable.
• Click ADD button and UPLOAD supporting document or transcript.
• Click NEXT to proceed to next page
NOTE : All applicants must meet the University’s English Language Competency requirement for the
chosen programme and attach the certified original copy of the English competency results with this
application. Please note that applicants who have not met the minimum requirement in any English
Competency Test will be required to sit for Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) at KUIPs.
3.5 SECTION E : FUNDING AND SCHOLARSHIP
• Select type of “FUNDING” (i.e : PTPTN, MAIPs Schoalrship, Self-Sponsorship or etc)
• Click SAVE & NEXT
3.6 SECTION F : DISABILITY NEEDS
• Select type of “DISABILITY NEEDS” as below.
• If YES, please provide the relevant medical documentation upon this application which will enable
us to provide reasonable adjustment to support you in your studies. Disclosure of this information
is treated confidentially and will not be used to disadvantage you
• Upload your supporting document (if applicable)
• Click SAVE and NEXT
3.7 SECTION G : CHECKLIST AND DECLARATION
• Before submission, applicant can check all application checklist and verify the information
entered by accessing to the Preview Form page as below.
• If supporting document uploaded, the image will turn to green.
IMPORTANT NOTE :
Applicant must upload all mandatory documents as stated in the Information box as below. System
will block applicant to continue to the next process which is unable to hit declaration (consent-form)
if compulsory files to be uploaded is not complete.
Hit “Declaration” to AGREE and SUBMIT the application.
NOTE : Registered applicant who hasn't submitted the form is still able to amend the application form by
accessing to the same online application form. To update the application form, applicant is required to
login to the application form by following the steps in SECTION A (3.1) until SECTION G (3.7).
Make any changes on the information by following steps and Upload Document.
UPDATE APPLICATION
In order to submit the form, applicant must fill up at least one information of academic background,
contact information and upload all compulsory supporting documents, or else, system will block applicant
to submit the application form once hit agreement.
Applicant will be notified via email once application is submitted. Applicant is no longer able to update
the application form once submission is performed.
CHECK APPLICATION STATUS
Once the application is processed, applicant is able to check the application status by login back to the
online application form.
• Click “Check Application Status”.
• Login by entering same NRIC/Passport and Password.
• Click LOGIN
• Hit “Check Application Status”
