Good Morning Church Family!
Good MORNING! ARE YOU READY? Last Sunday we made a commitment to the vision God has given us. Next Saturday, March 13th, we will be meeting here at the church at 9:30am to do two major events, that all of us can be involved with.
1st We need you to PRAY… PRAY… & PRAY some more… this is for all us to do, but also for those who are
not physically able walk into our neighborhood placing door hangers.
2nd We have 2,000 pamphlets in door hanger bags to give out announcing the changes here at Chandler Acres and we
need your help! If you can walk 2-3 blocks and place the pamphlets that are in plastic bags made to hang on doors, and we have enough people to help. We should have it all done in less than 2 hours!
The Pastors and the Deacons will be providing the transportation for those going into the neighborhood with the door hangers. Ed and Crystal Johnson will be leading the prayer time for those who will be praying for: our church vision, for those who are walking in the neighborhood, and for God to bless the work being done for HIS glory.
God has given us a mission, to work His vision for us as a church, everyone has the opportunity to be an interracial part in the work of the Lord.

“It’s who you are that determines what you do” 2 Timothy 1: 6-9
In Him, Pastor Dan
During World War II, England needed to increase its production of coal. Winston Churchill called together labor leaders to enlist their support. At the end of his presentation he asked them to picture in their minds a parade which he knew would be held in Piccadilly Circus after the war.
First, he said, would come the sailors who had kept the vital sea lanes open. Then would come the soldiers who had come home from Dunkirk and then gone on to defeat Rommel in Africa. Then would come the pilots who had driven the Luftwaffe from the sky.
Last of all, he said, would come a long line of sweat-stained, soot-streaked men in miner's caps. Someone would cry from the crowd, 'And where were you during the critical days of our struggle?' And from ten thousand throats would come the answer, 'We were deep in the earth with our faces to the coal.'"
Not all the jobs in a church are prominent and glamorous. But it is often the people with their "faces to the coal" who help the church accomplish its mission.

Special Thought For the Week "The church isn’t a fortress in the community but a wide-open door through which people come with all their cul-ture, prejudice, sin, hang-ups, background and baggage elbowing in along with them. Church members bring their sinful nature into the church the same way they bring it
into the bank or grocery store." (THE KINGDOM FOCUSED CHURCH, Gene Mims, p. 4)

Something to Consider The Lord is One
One egg, comprised of yolk, white and shell. Water, existing as ice, liquid and steam. These are the most common analogies of how three distinct entities can unite in one single reality. Yet even these examples fall short (as all of them do) because nothing in our frame of reference is as perfectly intact as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In His Word, God presents Himself to us in this way—not as three Gods but as One, existing in a purer form of harmony than anything our earthly experience allows us to explain. He is Father, sending His Son to redeem us, then sending His Spirit to remain with us. And yet they are connected together in a unified whole from eternity past to eternity future.
“The Lord our God, the Lord is one” Deuteronomy 6:4. This is among the bedrock truths of the Bible. God has always existed as One, sharing among Himself a unity of being we can best understand as three identifiable Persons, yet so mutually connected that neither is superior or inferior to the other. Three in one. The God of glory. Always more than meets the eye. Nothing is so fulfilling as falling in love with the God of the Game Plan for Life. That’s why God made us—for Himself. So begin enjoying His love. The great 4th/5th Century theologian Augustine finally found this to be true in his own life when he prayed, “You have made us for Yourself, O God, and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in You.”
Today’s Scripture “After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.” Luke 10: 1-3
