Mrs. Szabo and her son Aidan ran in Fellowship of the Parks Run for Change 5k last Saturday, where she placed top overall female finisher!! The 5K benefited KellerISD’s counseling department and to raise awareness of teen suicide prevention. Congratulate her if you can catch her !

All 8th grade science students review for STAAR using student-created informational posters based on TEKS.

AVID students build a family-like atmosphere by participating in team building competitions. All games were student created and voted upon.

Mrs. Winkley and Mr. Benner combine classes in the library to collaborate and co-teach through the difficult process of scripting the answer to mini data-based-questions.

Mr. Quattlebaum provides a flowchart to guide GTT students through the complicated process of building a telegraph. The processes of drilling, hammering and wiring flowed smoothly with little questions.

Mrs. Moreland utilizes a flowchart to help guide her ELA students through the process of writing an essay. Beginning with a plan and ending with what to do once students complete and turn-in the essay.

8th grade Social Studies students have a voice in how prepared they feel for the upcoming STAAR test in Mrs. Martin’s class. The Status Check reveals who needs more review and who could help peer tutor in class.
Mrs. McDavid created a flowchart in PowerPoint to steer her students through the process of reading a passage and answering STAAR reading questions. The test taking strategies were helpful and a flowchart will be used again the future, she says.
