The JCC VisionThe JCC nurtures a passion for Jewish learning and living. Through programs and services, the JCC provides comfortable and inviting environments in which the community can thrive.
Our HistoryThe JCC has served Columbus since 1913, when a meeting place for new immigrants and members of the Jewish community opened on South Washington Avenue. As the needs of the community have grown, so have the facilities and services offered at the JCC. This thriving community organization currently serves some 200,000 members and guests from 74 Central Ohio zip codes. Dedicated to the physical, cultural and educational enrichment of individuals and families, the JCC plays a significant role in the Central Ohio community.

JCC GalaThis year’s 2018 Gala “A Celebration of Members” was chaired by DeeDee and Denise Glimcher. The event was an amazing evening for JCC members especially our special guests – JCC members who have been consistent members of the JCC for over 50 years. Over 350 guests shared JCC memories with friends as they strolled among the décor of historical photos, played vintage carnival games, danced to songs on the jukebox and enjoyed great food and cocktails. It was truly a great party and a full night filled with memories and nostalgia! Proceeds from the 2018 JCC Gala benefitted JCC Children’s Scholarships. Join us next year, February 23, 2019 as the Gala celebrates 70 years of Gallery Players.

Lead DonorsThe wide array of programs and services offered by The JCC would not be possible without the generous support of our donors. Individuals and families from throughout the community provide financial resources for the annual Gala, Cultural Arts programming, scholarships, the Annual Campaign, capital improvements, and JCC endowment funds.
In 2017, our Lead Donors provided funds in excess of $180,000 by giving at or above the $1,000 level. We offer our deepest appreciation to this group of donors, and invite the community to join them in leading the way.
