The Intricacies
of Words
Words are agents of all
Communications.-Nazam Joseph
The enormous power of words lies in the MEANING that the words have for you. The words trigger concepts, ideas, memories, situations, circumstances, actions, thoughts and feelings from your subconscious mind into corresponding emotional responses toward the subject at hand.
BEWARE!Words can manipulate you into
becoming a tool others can use. Their words can virtually force you to agree
with their point of view, give them what they want, do what they ask or
buy what they are selling. (vice versa)
WHEN YOU KNOW HOW TO USE WORDS:
You'll see yourself on a level playing field with the people around you.
Your self-confidence and your self-esteem will improve dramatically.
You'll become more assertive, and you'll start getting what YOU
want.
Did is a word of achievement, Won't is a word of retreat,Might is a word of bereavement,Can't is a word of defeat,Ought is a word of duty,Try is a word of each hour,Will is a word of beauty,Can is a word of POWER!
WORDS…are the only weight less things...
in this world that could actually…
make you feel heavy….
Language has three important uses: it expresses thought, conceals
thought, and takes the place of thought.
Keep your words short and sweet. You never know, from day to day,
which ones you'll have to eat.
"If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his
head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart."
- Nelson Mandela
“Colours fade, temples crumble, empires fall, but wise
words endure” - Edward Thorndike
"Kind words are a creative force, a power that concurs in the building up
of all that is good, and energy that showers blessings upon the world."
- Lawrence G. Lovasik
"Words are the most powerful thing in the universe...
Words are containers. They contain faith, or fear, and they produce after their kind."- Charles Capps
“Your own words are the bricks and mortar of the dreams you want to
realize. Your words are the greatest power you have. The words you
choose and their use establish the life you experience.” Sonia Choquette
“I shouldn't have called my neighbour’s wife a dirty filthy old
woman, now she baths twice daily and she has nagged her husband into
paying for a facelift. She’s not only clean and beautiful, but she thanks me for my thoughtless outburst.”

"Never accept words meant to hurt. Turn them back because they are the
responsibility of the speaker. When you are caught off guard, hold the emotions in silence for a moment
and tell them to be still. It takes longer to forget than it does to forgive - and time heals when we
give it the power.“ Joyce Sequichie
