Chiefly Speaking
Hello Fellow Members of the Lo La'Qam Geela Lodge!!
It has been an excellent year so far, what with our successful spring ordeals and outstanding summer camp programs across the council. I've had many opportunities to meet with new Arrowmen during the last ordeal and over the summer, and from what I can see we're going to have a bright future for the Lodge! I've also learned much about different lodges across the western region from the friends I met while staffing at Camp Makualla.
Recently the LEC and fall committees has been planning one of the best fall schedules I have ever seen, and from what I've been involved in, you are all going to have an amazing time! From meeting people from other councils at conclave, to the strengthening of brotherhood, to inducting new members to our order, to traveling to infinity and beyond, the experiences will be the start of a bright age!
But remember, any event is only as fun as the Arrowmen who arrive, so let every Arrowmen you can think of to show up and pre-register to these events as soon as possible.
To learn more, go to our BRAND SPANKING NEW UP AND RUNNING WEBSITE!!!!! www.craterlakecouncil.org/OA
And to learn more about Section wide conclave, or to register, go to www.sectionw1s.org/conclave, but remember, do it soon, or else there will be consequences...
So what are you waiting for? Hurry up and register if you want to have fun! I'm hoping to see all of you there!
My email is in the sidebar and my phone number is 541-891-9142; don't hesitate to call if you have any questions!
Yours in Brotherhood,
Joseph(er) Collins

As a chapter we're planning on making our own chapter regalia for our ceremonies. Get in the Loop
Lo La’Qam Geela Lodge has been working toward better communication for our members to keep in touch with us and to know what is going on. Thanks to Facebook and Crater Lake Council, we have two great ways to get the word out to all of our members. Both have its own advantages that are useful in getting information:
www.facebook.com/groups/LandOfFire Get basic lodge updates in your regular Facebook News Feed as the information becomes available. Just visit our group’s page and join as a member.
www.craterlakecouncil.org/OA Very in-depth information is on demand whenever you need it. We have many resources available including new member Q&A, a calendar of events, a guide to getting Brotherhood, contact information for lodge and chapter leaders, event registration, digital copies of newsletters, and a history of our lodge.
