For the benefit of this document, the ‘Artist’ signifies Avishai Cohen as a person and head of Avishai Cohen
Productions Ltd. The ‘Producer’ represents the booking agent / promoter / venue, who are involved in producing
this particular event that the Artist will perform at and whose job it is to maintain that this rider is followed.
SECTION A
PAYMENT AND SETTLEMENT REQUIREMENTS
A1: DEPOSITS: All deposits by the Purchaser to the Artist shall be made at least 60 days prior to the date of
performance/s:
Payment of fees and deposits should be made payable to Mr. R B Jefford. On behalf of, Avishai Cohen
Productions Ltd.
The Artist Management should be notified of all deposits / fee payments and settlement prior to sending.
Any money with held for local tax must have a Homified Receipt from the Government concerned.
No money will be with held in this way without a receipt and full prior notification.
Cancellation of Performance
In the event of concert cancellation by the Purchaser, less than 21 days before the event, the Artist Avishai
Cohen shall receive the amount equal to 100% (one hundred percent) of his full fee unless the reason of
cancellation is Acts of God.
A2: PAYMENT OF THE BALANCE: The balance payment of the contract fee by the Purchaser to Artist shall
be made in the form of cash.
The Artist will refuse to accept a personal check as fulfillment of any portion of Purchaser's obligation
hereunder. Cash Settlement is mandatory unless prior written agreement has been made with Artist’s
Management.
A3. FEES: All fees should be paid on or in advance of the Artist’s performance date/s, to the Artist
Management or representative. All taxes should be settled prior to the event taking place, with full
documentation and completion of contract and agreements.
A4. EXCESS BAGGAGE CHARGES: Excess baggage may be payable by Purchaser or local promoter up to a
maximum of Euro 250.00, (or $250.00 for United States) for any excess airline baggage charges that could be
charged for the artist's acoustic bass. A valid receipt will be provided if incurred by the Artist Management and
passed to the Purchaser for settlement in cash on arrival.
Full settlement should be made on the day of the performance.

SECTION B: STAGING, EQUIPMENT AND PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS
(Please also refer to the artist technical rider in Section I)
B1. STAGING REQUIREMENTS: The stage /venue space should be at least 30 feet wide (10m) and 30 feet
deep (10m) for the exclusive use of the Artist. Purchaser agrees that this stage will be kept free of people and
equipment not necessary for the production during the time it is assigned to the Artist.
Purchaser also agrees that if the engagement is to be performed outdoors there will be adequate covering to
protect the artist and all equipment from direct sunlight, wind, rain, any severe weather conditions and to the
Artist's satisfaction.
B2. BACKLINE REQUIREMENTS: Please contact Simon Jouin, the group’s sound engineer, if you have any
questions with any part of the backline or sound and technical requirements.

B3. PIANO: A high quality Steinway D or Yamaha CF III Grand Concert Piano must be provided and tuned
prior to sound check and again prior to the performance. For full clarification on instrument required please refer
to the band technical rider (Section I).
It is also desired that the piano tuner should be available and present on the arrival of the artists at sound check.
All necessary time should be given to the tuner to complete their work within the schedule of the day.
B4. ACCESS TO STAGE AND HALL: The Artist must be supplied with a minimum of 2 stage crew to assist
with load-ins, setting up, taking equipment down, and load out. They are to make themselves known and
available to the Artist’s Manager or Sound Engineer at load-in and immediately after the performance has ended.
B5. TIME OF AVAILABILITY OF STAGE: The place of performance should be available to the Artist for
set up (2 hours) and sound check (1 hour) prior to the performance.
The total set – up and sound check time for all performances should be allocated as 3 hours.
B6. LOCAL CREW REQUIREMENTS: One (1) representative from the sound company, and one (1)
translator (if outside the US/UK/FRANCE).
They are to make themselves known and available to the Artist's Manager or Sound Engineer at load in-time,
sound check and performance.
B7. SOUND & MONITOR SYSTEMS:
Purchaser shall furnish a professional sound reinforcement system with stage monitors and microphones at the
sole cost of the Purchaser. The system shall be chosen for its high quality and clean sound. Also to be furnished
is professional personnel who are responsible for erecting and setting up the system and ensuring it is fully
operational prior to the Artist’s set – up and sound check time and throughout the performance.
The Artist retains the right to approve or disapprove for use, any sound systems provided per this rider.

B8. LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS: Purchaser shall provide at his sole expense the stage lighting
requirements adequate for the auditorium or venue being performed in, plus provide a lighting operator and
personnel to focus the stage lighting (prior to sound check) at the direction of Artist's representative.
B9. SECURITY: Access should be limited and security of the Artist and travelling group is vital. Full co-
operation of the Purchaser and local promoter must be provided for the duration and stay of the artist at the place
of the performance. If the Artist or Artist Management requires increased security then this should be
implemented on request in full by the Purchaser or local promoter.
Every care should be made to ensure the Artist and group, are comfortable in the performance environment pre
show and after show.

SECTION C. PERMITS, LICENSES, AND WORK VISAS:
C1. The Purchaser should provide all work and visa travel permits for the travelling group including any crew.
The cost of all visas, requests and applications should be covered by Purchaser.
The Artist Management will provide all necessary personal information for the group to ensure that all
applications and visas are provided and available in advance of any travel, performance or tour.

SECTION D. INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUDIENCE AND STAFF:
D1. VENUE ACCESS PASSES: Artist Manager, Sound Engineer and all musicians shall be supplied with
whatever identification and authorization that may be necessary for complete freedom of movement throughout
the place of performance, during the day of the performance.
D2. RECORDINGS, PHOTOS: No part of the performance rendered herein may be broadcast, photographed,
recorded, filmed, taped or embodied in any form for any purpose of reproducing such performance, and the
Purchaser agrees that he will not authorise any such recording without prior written consent from the Artist
Management.
Purchaser will deny entrance to any persons carrying flash cameras, tape or video recording devices without
limiting in any way the generality of the foregoing prohibition.
Photographers and press should seek authority to be present at the performance or sound check.
The Artist’s Management should be made aware of any such specific requests.

In general terms all official photographers are allowed to take images during the first 2 songs of the
performance without flash or lighting, up to a maximum of 15 minutes, from the start of the performance.

D3. AUDIENCE ENTERING HALL: Purchaser shall not allow audience to enter place of performance until
such time as a technical set-up and sound check has been completed. (Not applicable where a "festival" situation
does not permit.)
The Artist has the right to ask for anyone not involved or part of the production team to be removed from the
venue, during set – up and sound check at any time.
D4. SIGNAL TO BEGIN: It is further required that the lights in the lobby area should be dimmed, flashed, or
any other method used, starting 5 to 10 minutes prior to the start of the concert to facilitate audience being seated
on time.
D5. HOUSE MUSIC:
Music – audio can be broadcast at the venue prior to the artist performance, at a low volume level for ambience,
but must be ceased 5 minutes prior to the start of the Artist’s performance.

SECTION E: BILLING, ADVERTISING, PROMOTION, PUBLICITY AND ANNOUNCEMENTS.
E1. BILLING: The Artist Avishai Cohen should be presented as a headliner act. The billing in any advertising
should be as follows:

E2. ADVERTISING / MEDIA and PROMOTION: All promotional material of the Artist and
performance, including all images, text and information produced as marketing material; such as brochures,
booklets; festival and event information / literature, posters, news feeds, video and any other print or electronic
media and communication tools used by the Purchaser, which uses the Artist image, biography or video, must be
approved at all times by Artist Management prior to producing the online or print advertising.

E3. PHOTOS: No photos of the Artist will be used other than those supplied by the Artist.
All approved photos, text, biography and audio material are available from the Artist Management or publicist.

E4. INTERVIEWS: The Purchaser or local promoter agrees that it will not commit the Artist or any other
member of the group to any personal appearances, interviews, or any other type of promotional appearance
without the Artist’s prior consent. All requests for interviews or other publicity must be directed to Ella

E5: OTHER GROUPS AND PERFORMERS:
The Purchaser should provide detail if there are other performers and groups scheduled to perform within the
same programme / day of the event prior or after the Artist’s performance to ensure that there is sufficient
coordination for sound balance, program publications and advertising.
E6: OTHER MATERIAL IN CONNECTION WITH PERFORMANCE:
The Artist shall have the sole and exclusive approval of all souvenir programs and the Purchaser must get
approval from the Artist prior to the engagement.
Purchaser agrees that no other program souvenir or photographs, recordings or any other reading material be
sold or distributed in connection with this performance without prior approval of the Artist Management. Ray

E7: MERCHANDISING: The Artist Management and its record label shall have the sole and exclusive right
to sell their own products; i.e. T-shirts, programs, books CD’s & videos in connection with the performance
hereunder and the receipts there of shall belong exclusively to the Artist or his assigned agent. Purchaser will
ensure any clearance or approval necessary from venue management or any other party or persons is obtained to
permit. Purchaser will provide a sales area and large table near or at the venue lobby for CD and promotion
sales, prior and after the performance.
E8: COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS: Purchaser agrees to provide up to eight (8) complimentary tickets per
performance to the Artist. Purchaser and House Management complimentary tickets will not exceed 20 without
prior written approval from Artist. The Artist Management will furnish a complimentary ticket list prior to the
performance.

SECTION F: AIRPORT PICK-UPS, LOCAL TRANSPORTATION & HOTEL REQUIREMENTS
F1: AIRPORT PICK-UPS: Producer will provide all necessary transport appropriate for carriage of the Artist
and travelling group, plus the group’s musical equipment and personnel baggage. This includes the Artist’s
double bass in flight case of which the dimensions are: 2 x 0.6 x 0.75 metres.
The pick up should be from arrival airport / station to hotel and venue.
A personal contact for all pick –ups should be provided to the Artist Management in advance of arrival, with full
contact telephone numbers and vehicle types.
F2: LOCAL TRANSPORTATION: Purchaser is to provide all local ground transportation as necessary to
ensure all personnel (with luggage & equipment) are safely and comfortably transported between the hotel and
venue, airport/arrival station for both the sound check and the performance.
The group will travel with the Artist’s acoustic bass, in flight case: 2.0 m (height) x 0.70m (width) x 0.65(depth).
(Weight: 32 KG).
Luggage space for this equipment and instruments should be suffice to allow the artists and travelling group (5 -
6 persons) to travel in comfort and in a clean environment.
**We insist on a limousine or large car for Mr Avishai Cohen and a further vehicle (8 / 9 seater van) for
the instruments, equipment, baggage and band members / crew. All vehicles must be clean, and have
sufficient space for comfortable travel.**
Please note that if a 3rd
party, private hire / taxi is hired then full contact details of the Purchaser should
be provided who should be contactable at all times regardless of timings and schedule of travel and pick
up time.
This is an important requirement for the safety and reliability of travel for the group and to ensure times
of schedule are attained.
F3: HOTEL REQUIREMENTS:
The Artist requires a minimum of the following accommodation for their stay.
High Quality Deluxe hotel 5 ***** Star accommodation rating must be provided by Purchaser consisting of 4
large rooms and 1 Junior Suite. King or queen size beds to be provided for single occupancy.
Important - Mr Cohen’s Junior Suite or Superior / Executive room must adhere to the following
conditions: away from public lifts, service areas, local main streets, road works, transport networks and
located on a high level floor within the hotel accommodation. The quietest room possible in the hotel. The Hotel should provide quiet rooms to limit noise levels for the whole group for rest and sleep during daytime
hours. Each hotel room will provide and include a mini - bar in each room and free wi fi access. Breakfast (included)
and, lunch and dinner should be available at the hotel through a 24 hour room service. We also welcome the
hotel to provide a fitness / health facility / gym. All hotel accommodation is subject to approval by the Artist Management. In all cases the full details of the accommodation are to be passed to Avishai Cohen management who have

Artist Management in some cases will be open to accept an agreed financial buy–out for the accommodation,
when the proposed hotel accommodation cannot be accepted by either party.
F4> ROOM CHARGES: Purchaser is liable for the room (including breakfast) and tax charges. Artist
shall ensure that all the incidental charges (phone, restaurant, etc.) are paid upon departure.
SECTION G: DRESSING ROOM, HOSPITALITY & SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
G1: DRESSING ROOMS: TWO (2) comfortable and private dressing rooms should be provided and one (1)
comfortable and private reception lounge area equipped with 10 large, clean terry cloth towels, ash trays, chairs
or sofas; comfortably heated or air-conditioned, ventilated and well lit.

These rooms shall be in easy access to clean private lavatories /showers which are supplied with soap, toilet
tissue and towels. These lavatories shall be closed to the general public. Purchaser shall be solely responsible for
the security of items in the dressing room area by stationing a representative on behalf of the Purchaser outside
the dressing room before, during and after the performance.
G2 FOOD AND DRINKS: Coffee, tea, coca cola, beers (bottled and draught), wine, still mineral water for
drinking (+ 10 bottles of still mineral water for each performance), fruit juices, and fresh fruit must be provided.
Food snacks, crisps, sandwiches, cheese, meats, whole wheat breads, fresh salad, vegetables, fresh ginger and
honey. Olive oil (local) and balsamic vinegar.
The producer requires access to hot water – an electric kettle should be provided.
There must be an iron and ironing board for clothes maintenance in back stage rooms.
We will require wine and beer glasses for the consumption (no plastic beakers or cups).
G3: HOT MEAL FOR BAND AND CREW: Purchaser will provide a hot meal (dinner), for the crew and
band consisting of five / six (5/6) persons. Each meal should include a salad with main course and desert option,
with soft drinks, wine, beer and beverages.
MENU SELECTION:
Chicken, fresh pasta, rice, fresh fish and meat, with vegetables are acceptable. Local produce is always welcome.
Dietary Restrictions: 1 x meal should be without shell fish.
1 x meal should be without any fish / sea food.
1 x meal should be vegetarian.
1 x meal should be without pork.
For any concerns or acceptance on menu and dietary requirements, should be shared with Artist Management,
prior to event.
G4: SECURITY: Adequate security personnel must be provided for the protection of the Artist, persons who
travel with the Artist and personal property of Artist and said persons. The Artist Manager shall have sole
control of the placement of the security staff. All questions related to this matter should be directed to the Artist
Management in the first instance or Tour Manager.

SECTION H: LEGAL CONTRACTUAL CLAUSES:
H1: CONTENT OF SHOW AND OTHER MUSICIANS: Artist shall have sole and exclusive control over
the production, presentation and performance of its engagement hereunder, and the Artist shall have the sole
right to designate and change at any time its performing personnel (the Artist’s band) other than the Artist.
H2. LEGAL RELATIONSHIP: This agreement shall not be construed to create a joint venture or partnership
between Purchaser and Artist and no business relationship other than that of Purchaser / Artist shall exist
between the parties.
H3: WAIVER RIOTS, ETC: In the event of public calamity or riots, epidemic, fire, serious illness or injury,
or cancellation not under the control of Artist, or other acts of God, no claim shall be made of the Artist in
respect of non-fulfillment of this agreement with regard to the concert(s) affected.
In the event of serious illness of injury, a Doctor's certificate will be supplied by the Artist.
H4: SEGREGATED AUDIENCES: Artist shall not be required to appear or perform before any audience
which is segregated on basis of race, color, creed or where physical violence or injury to Artist is likely to occur.
H5: BREACH OF AGREEMENT: In the event of the Purchaser breaching in any way this agreement, the
Artist shall have the right without limiting any of its other remedies hereunder to refrain from rendering a
performance or stop rendering a performance if such a breach occurs during the rendition of a performance.
Notwithstanding the cessation of such a performance, the
Purchaser shall be liable to the Artist for all of the fees and compensation hereunder in the same manner as
though the Artist had fully performed.
A BREACH OF ANY CLAUSE CONTAINED IN THIS RIDER BY THE PURCHASER SHALL BE
DEEMED A MATERIAL BREACH. If the Artist elects to perform or continue to perform notwithstanding a
breach of this agreement by Purchaser, the performance by the Artist shall not constitute a waiver or any claim
the Artist may have for damages or otherwise.
H6: LIABILITY: Artist assumes no personal liability for any act or omission of Purchaser, or employees of
Purchaser.
H7: AMENDMENTS TO AGREEMENT: This agreement may not be changed, modified or altered except by
an instrument in writing by the parties. Any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement or the
breach thereof shall be settled by arbitration.

- PA: A professional sound system with subwoofer, like L.Acoustic (KARA, K1), Meyer sound (Mica), d&b, Adamson...(no HK please) Enough coverage for entire venue. The preference is more cabinets to be run at a lower volume than fewer cabinets run high. The sound system must be positioned at least 2 meters above the ground. It should operate in Stereo and the subwoofers will be connected on a matrix send. The unit must be connected to adapted processors and graphic EQ. Centre cluster and front fill welcomed. - Mixing desk: - Digital mixing desk, like Soundcraft Vi6 or Vi4, Yamaha PM5D RH or CL5, Digico, Midas (no 01V, no 02R, no LS9, no DM2000, no allen&heath, no Digidesign) -We prefer digital mixing desk, but a analogical mixing desk is still possible, it has to be with minimum 32 Inputs (48 inputs if there is an other band playing), 8 VCA, 4 band full parametric eq, variable low cut, like: Midas H3000 (1st priority), Yamaha PM 3500, Soundcraft...(no allen & heath) The mixer position must be in the centre of the room. Lighting: The choices related to the lighting should be decided by your light engineer. However, the engineer must ensure that the musicians be visible all the time Recording of performance: Whenever possible the performance can be recorded by the sound engineer, for archive purposes only. A copy of any recording should be cleared, prior to sound check, if agreed, a copy of the recording will need to be provided to the Artist, or representative as soon as possible after the performance. Dressing rooms The 2 dressing rooms and lounge area should be secure and close to the performance stage. - All dressing rooms should be large, clean and comfortably equipped with: sofa, table, chairs, mirrors, an iron with ironing board and can accommodate 6 people (3 musicians, 1 sound engineer, 1 manager, 1 possible driver/road manager). - 1 single dressing room for Avishai Cohen. - 1 dressing room for Avishai Cohen group. - 1 lounge area for all including Avishai Cohen Production team - They need to be locked and the key will be delivered to the tour manager. WIFI Access is needed. - A pleasant decor, green plants will be an appreciated attention. - Showers clean and in good working order nearby the dressing rooms. (+6 large towels) Catering for set up and sound check (backstage): - The catering and beverage described below will be of good quality and should be available to the team upon arrival, 2 hours before sound check: this means when the Sound engineer arrive, not when the band arrive. The sound engineer is usually the one in the team who has no time to eat, so please make sure the catering is ready for him!! Cold buffet for 6 persons: - A cold buffet includes: bread, cheese, mixed salads, vegetables, deli, sandwiches, local specialties, fresh fruit, chocolate bars, fresh ginger root, fresh mint, honey, candy, 70% chocolate... Drinks: - Tea and coffee - 6 large bottles of still water - 2 large bottles of soda water - 4 litres of fruit juice a variety of good quality - 20 cold cans or draught quality beer for consumption after the performance. - 20 cans of Coke, Orangina, Ice Tea, etc. - 1 bottle of quality red wine.

We need at least 2 hours to set up the stage with your team before the sound check and then 1 hour for sound check, total: 3 hours. The whole of the equipment will be in place and functioning for the arrival of the team of Avishai Cohen (including microphones plugged).
