John Conditt and Phil Burkhart serve as executive directors of the TSCA, working with coaches from the three sections of Tennessee: East, Middle, and West. Coaches from all classifications of the TSSAA- Division I: A, AA, AAA and Division II: A, AA are invited to join. The TSCA has also invited all university and college coaches in the state of Tennessee to join as members. The TSCA hopes that the university and college coaches can give the organization many ideas and help generate a bond between the high school coach and the college coach.
The TSCA is a powerful voice for high school softball coaches in Tennessee. We are working closely with the TSSAA to develop feedback from high school coaches on rule changes and elements that are important to high school softball coaches and the young ladies who play the game.
Membership dues are $40 per school for all coaches at that school. To receive an application for TSSAA membership, please go to: https://sites.google.com/site/tscacom/application-for-membership

T his year’s inductee is David Lipscomb High School’s former coach, Gary Davis. Gary coached at Lipscomb from 1987–2012, spanning a 26-year history. Gary’s teams won 13 district championships over those 25 years during the
regular season and 15 District Tournament Championships. Gary won 634 games during his time at the helm of the Lady Mustangs and had 11 state appearances. Under his leadership, Lipscomb won three state championships in 1993, 1994 and 1997. Not only was Gary a very dedicated coach of the Lady Mustangs, but he also trained many young ladies as their pitching coach. Also, over the 25 years at Lipscomb, the team was always known for being competitive, but also showing class on and off of the field. Coach Davis always showed that class and Christian example in everything he did. Congratulations to the TSCA’s First Hall of Fame Inductee – Coach Gary Davis.
