If you want to take a royally-inspired road trip this summer,it's going to cost you more than$4,000 if you pull out all thestops, or a little more than$1,500 if you do it on the cheap.

at includes gas, accomoda-tions and admission into someof the sights the Duke and Duch-ess of Cambridge will take induring their eight-day tour — butnot the taxes or food.

A BMO survey found Canadiansrank aordability as "the numberone factor determining their summercation plans this year," customercommunications and marketing vicepresident Su McVey said in a release.

"Of course, not everyone has

access to a royal budget." When it comes to where to stay,

not everyone can be guests atRideau Hall, where Kate and Wil-liam will be staying when they're in thenation's capital. So you'll need twonights in an Ottawa hotel, then one inQuebec City, one in Charlottetown, three in Yellowknife and one in Cal-gary.

For those who want to visit thesites Kate and William will visit, thecost is about $109 for admissionfor two into the Canadian Museum

of Civilization, Canadian WarMuseum, Green Gables in PEI, thePEI National Park and the Calgary Stampede.

e good news, though, is thatCanada Day celebrations onParliament Hill and a tour of Rideau Hall are both free.

But it's not just Canadians dis-covering their own country. DaliaBlumenthal of CheapFlights.ca saysnumbers of travellers to the Great

White North are up."Maybe the U.K. got its ll of the

royals with the wedding or know they can see them at home as, rightnow, Cheapights is seeing a biggerclimb in searches from the U.S.than from the U.K. is is always apopular time for travel to Canada, somaybe it's not all royal fever, but thenumbers for U.S. travellers searchingon Canada destinations are the high-est we've seen this year and hasbeen climbing steadily since Willand Kate took their vows in April,"she said.
