Sunday School Coordinator St. Luke’s Episcopal Church 2000 Stover St. Ft. Collins, CO 80525 A part time (20 hours per week) Sunday School Coordinator is needed at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. St. Luke’s is a vibrant, welcoming parish that has recently re-established its Sunday School program which enrolls students in the preschool to high school levels. Approximately 20 students attend Sunday classes each week. A dedicated group of Sunday School teachers are active in the program. The Coordinator will be responsible for broad aspects of the Sunday School program including, but not limited to the recruitment and training of new teachers (which may be required from time to time), communicating with teachers and helping teachers prepare for Sunday lessons, maintaining records of attendance, engaging families of new students, maintaining adequate supplies and keeping the Congregation informed about Sunday School activities. We look for the Coordinator to help grow the Sunday School in terms of weekly attendance. The Coordinator will report to the Rector at St. Luke’s and work closely with the St. Luke’s Sunday School Advisory Committee. The Sunday School uses Sparkhouse and Godly Play curricula. Qualifications: Previous experience coordinating Sunday School is desirable. In addition, the successful candidate will have good communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and some experience in Christian education.
