Introduction
Let’s pretend for a minute that we are living in Germany in the late 1930’s. Everywhere you look, you are bombarded with Swastikas, armed SA troops, and the Nazi propaganda. Could you predict how you would feel in this situation? Would you follow Adolf Hitler, or would you avoid following the wave of propaganda and take a stand?
This assignment is an opportunity for you to do the research in order to find the answers to these questions:
• Can you stand alone against your country?• Are you willing to risk everything for strangers?• Could you risk your life to spare another?

Conclusion
Once you have completed this assignment, you will have not only a better understanding of the Holocaust, but you will also be able to comprehend what it was like to live during this difficult time. It is easy to look back and blame people for not taking action; it is harder to put yourself in their shoes and make their difficult decisions.
