Harringay Station Controlled Parking Zone – Phase 2 Consultation leaflet
Consulting you on the HarringayStation CPZ.What has theconsultation told us?In July 06, we consulted you to ask your views onwhether or not your area would benefit fromhaving a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ). Wereceived over 870 completed questionnaires.More detail on the consultation results from thefirst phase of the consultation can be found on theHaringey website.
Your feedback has enabled us to identify a smallerarea where there is support for a parking scheme(see area marked with a green line on the map onpages 3 & 4). However we are asking for yourviews again to verify this. As mentioned, thissmaller area has been identified where there wassupport for a CPZ in the first phase ofconsultation and takes into account practicalconsiderations (i.e. an area with logical boundaries, for example to the end of the road).
The feedback we have received from the firstphase of consultation indicated that respondentsin the area marked in green preferred parkingcontrols to operate Monday-Friday for twohours. This leaflet will give you anotheropportunity to provide feedback on what timingsyou think are suitable for a possible CPZ.
For the areas outside the green line, there will beno change to parking controls as a result of thisconsultation and no further consultation.
Why have we arranged a secondphase of consultation about a smaller CPZ in your area? This second phase of consultation has beenarranged to give you another opportunity to giveyour views on the roads included in the smallermodified area.
If you have already responded to theconsultation document sent in July and do notwish to respond again, please be assured that youroriginal feedback is still valid and will be included inour final analysis of results.

If you responded last time and wish to givedifferent or additional feedback, we will usethis instead of the feedback you have alreadyprovided.
How can you let us know yourviews on this smaller modified area?We would like your feedback on the details of thescheme and the operational hours suggested.
You can write to give us your views on the revisedscheme either by completing the tear-off sectionon page 5, or by letter to Haringey Council, Traffic and Road Safety Group, River Park House,1st Floor South, 225 High Road, Wood GreenN22 8HQ. You can also telephone CharleneSantos on 020 8489 1326 or [email protected]
All additional feedback must be received by30 October 06.
Where can you get moreinformation?Frequently asked questions about CPZs can befound on the website at www.haringey.gov.uk
