Download - STARVED ROCK OVERNIGHT ADVENTURE
Starved Rock Lodge was built in the 1930s and sits high above a wooded bluff in a state park overlooking the Illinois River. Starved Rock State Park has awesome waterfalls and 18 majestic canyons. We will arrive at the historic lodge just in time for lunch, followed by a narrated trolley tour and boat cruise to see the park by water. After the tour, we will check into our rooms and have a bit of time to relax before dinner. The rest of the evening is free to enjoy the amenities of the lodge. Wake up with a smile and breakfast followed by a tour of Art in the Park which includes a collection of over 40 pieces which include woodcarvings, woven tapestry, kinetic glass sculpture, and steel totems as well as bronze, wood and cement figures. We'll then enjoy lunch followed by a walk down memory lane with a musical tribute to Patsy Cline. Time to relax and enjoy the show stylings of Mary Pfeifer in the historic ambiance of Starved Rock Lodge's Great Hall. "Simply Patsy Tribute Show" will in-clude Patsy's first recordings in 1955 to her last in 1963.

We are fortunate to have a six-acre space that easily accommodates social distancing. Come and enjoy the stimulation of nature mixed with our artistic vendors
in our warm, safe, and relaxing environment.
We will start the day with a comfort stop and breakfast at Hardees in Sheboygan. Next, is a visit to the newly remodeled Christmas Barn at Restoration Gardens for some early holiday shopping, then on to the brand new Kohler Art Preserve. Built into a hillside adjacent to the Sheboygan River, the Art Preserve is home to more than 25,000 works of art. This is the first facility dedicated to artist-built environments. The impressive, three-level building embraces harmony and aesthetics with nature and allows us the chance to explore the wonder of unique unexpected treas-ures. Next, it's off to the Memories Dinner Theater for one of their popular plated lunches complete with famous fluff and torte for dessert. Then, get ready to laugh your antlers off with the musical comedy, Deer Camp the Musical ~ "Four buddies are enjoying their annual deer hunting trip, but this year is different. After 15 years of com-ing home with nothing but a hangover, their wives have given them an ultima-tum: bag a deer or your deer camp days are over. Only one hurdle stands in their way--none of them know how to hunt. Do they buy one? Steal one? Could they possibly try to... shoot one? With this wacky troop, it seems the only ones safe in the woods are the deer, but with song and dance, a bit of chance, and some audience interaction, their prayers are answered just as they run out of beer."

The theater is beautifully adorned with golden pillars, beautiful decor, comfortable seats, and boasts top notch productions. Ragtime is one of the most acclaimed musicals of modern times ~ It's the early 1900s - the age of ragtime, a new music that is electrifying the country. But beneath the pounding of piano keys is a white, affluent New Rochelle family in crisis, a black piano player from Harlem trying to win back the love of his life while fighting a tragic injustice and a Latvian Jewish immigrant artist determined to give his child a new life in America. Three different families making their way through tumultuous times in a country still experiencing growing pains. When the show is over, we will return home with a dinner stop on the way.
