The Diocesan School of Evangelization will sponsor its Annual Diocesan Evangelization Congress on Saturday, November19, 2016, at Saint Francis Preparatory High School in Queens. The theme this year is Amoris Laetitia The Joy of Love: A JoyfulEncounter. Keynote presenters will be Hosffman Ospino, Ph.D., Matthew Sutton, Ph.D., and Deacon Art Miller. Workshopswill be presented in Spanish, Polish, and English. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop James Massa, Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn.Register online at www.bqonlineformation.org by November 15, 2016. Space is limited, so register early. Art AuctionThe October 22 art auction resulted in a profit of $5,340.The entire amount has been donated to St. RobertBellarmine Church to help pay the ever increasing ex-penses of our parish. The 110 people who attendedhad a great time enjoying the food, wine, the auctionand the camaraderie of their fellow parishioners. Con-gratulations to the Knights of Columbus and the par-ents who volunteered their time and effort to make theevent a great success.
The Jubilee Year of MercyOur Holy Father, Pope Francis, has declared this past year a Jubilee Year of Mercy. The Jubilee comes to an endon November 20, The Feast of Christ the King. During this past year we were encouraged to practice thecorporal and spiritual works of Mercy. The Church teaches us that we serve God and one another by acts ofcharity and mercy.
