“I’m so happy to be a part of this parish and to pitch in!” -Rosann Shannon
Hi Everyone, This weekend I’m helping lead a retreat for Middle School youth ministers. I’ll be back Sunday night. You are my mass intention on Sunday. Please take care of Fr. Ryan Weber (Saturday) and Fr. Jason Schumer (Sunday) this weekend. I went to the seminary with them and they’re great, holy, happy priests! (Also don’t believe anything they say about me!) A couple of things for us to keep in mind this week: Let’s keep praying for those killed and wounded in Las Vegas, and for their families. In tragic times we need to come before the Cross and ask Jesus to guide us. Remember to bring some SOCKS for our Respect Life Month project. Any type of new socks are appreciated. All will be donated to Our Lady’s Inn. Knights of Columbus are selling Tootsie Rolls after Mass this weekend. Why? All proceeds go to help those with mental difficulties. If you don’t want your Tootsie Rolls, I’ll gladly take them! Sweet tooth! MEN’S NIGHT is next Wednesday, Oct 11, 6pm, at the parish. Guys, come join us! LADIES: tell your husbands and other men you know! In order to determine the amount of food to be prepared please RSVP Ted Michael by text at 314-562-7740. FALL FESTIVAL is coming up on OCT 21! Invite everybody! Sign up to help if you can! I’m really excited to see my first Fall Festival! And a special birthday shout out to our two Kolbe House members: Brad Baumgarten (Oct 7) and Michael Baer (Oct 9). Send up prayers for these two as God gives them clarity in discernment and for another great year! Prayers for You All, Fr. Fallon

Dear Parishioners of St. Elizabeth of Hungary, The Little Sisters of the Poor are very grateful for the splendid response we received to our appeal on the weekend of September 9th and 10th. Your faith and selfless generosity are an inspiration to us. As we continue to care for our elderly Residents during this time of transition, we are confident that God will find the right persons to sponsor our Home and continue this work. Regardless of where we go, each Little Sister who has ever served in the Archdiocese of Saint Louis will continue to pray for its priests and its people. We are thankful that we have had the chance to serve where the faith is so strong and so alive. Be assured of our prayers for you. We pray for your intentions and for those you love. In Jesus and Mary, The Little Sisters of the Poor
