Admittance to the Arena
“What to Bring”: Nicely dressed Graduation Gown & Cap- Take out
packaging before arriving Keys to your car (safety pin, girls!)
“What NOT to Bring”: No cell phones, no purses, no “toys” No ipods/mp3 players
Arrive at the arena before 5:00 pm, park in the lot to the front left of the arena and enter down the
steps to the back of the arena.
Other notes about arrival: All other items you will be asked to
return to your car, or we will confiscate them.
There will be bags/ boxes if a student(s) shows up with any others items and they did not drive.
We are not responsible for the security of these items.
Warn your relatives… Note to your Guests = (i.e. -
tell your parents)

You will find your IF teacher at the top of the arena once you exit
You must have your diploma IN HAND before you will be allowed to exit!!!
Going Home
600 graduates: Ceremonies will probably be a minimum of 1 1/2 hours
Might be closer to 2 1/2 hours
Once students exit the Arena, you will
not be let back in
Your parents should exit and join you outside the arena
Difficult to pronounce name?
When we dismiss, come down and see Ms. Gustavus and help her make sure they say your name correctly!
Media Fines/ Lost Books Failure to pay or turn in means you
will NOT walk at graduation!

Request Official Transcript
If you have not already done so, submit a request for your final transcript. Counselors cannot send your final transcript without an official request from you. Your acceptance to college and ability to register for classes are based on receipt of a final, official transcript of grades and graduation date.
Go to url.southforsythhs.org/seniors to request your final, official transcript. There is no fee.
Honor Tassels To be named an Honor Graduate you must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA If you are not sure you have a 3.5 GPA, counselors can verify for you. If, after final senior grades are posted, you earn a 3.5 GPA, you will receive your honors tassel at graduation.
Senior Officers/ Speeches
Senior Class Officers need to see Ms. Hewitt before you leave
Salutatorians/Valedictorian need to see Ms. Hewitt about speeches
