P&E Meeting Key Notes
• Current professional membership is 28,755, down 1% from last year
• Dues increase took effect 1 May 2010
• Discussed possibility of an ITAR session in 2012• Obtain more interest in industry in attending JPC. JPC has been criticized
for lack of real content like is seen at JANNAF
• ScholarOne, used for the first time at this JPC was widely criticized at the meeting. AIAA personnel indicated that they will work with ScholarOne to address the concerns and that improvements to the system are continually being made

• Theme: Insertion of Innovative Technologies into new and evolving systems 15 sessions with 61 papers
• Special sessions dedicated to the 70th birthday of Dr. Ken Kuo
• Special panel discussion on Tactical Missiles
• Session Chairs and co-Chairs from TC
• Special thank you to Russ Ellis for abstract content review and Butch Foster for providing the historical videos that add continuity within the sessions! Need to bring videos every year due to paper withdrawals, cancellations, etc.
