Handled operations involving Erection and Commissioning works of Rotary

Equipment and Critical piping for 3 X 660 MW Thermal Power plant- Chattisgarh-

India.

Handled operations involving erection and commissioning of Turbines, Rotary

Equipment, LP and HP Piping for Turbine and its Auxiliaries for 2 X 800 MW

Thermal power plant- Nellore-India

productivity targets.

Process Enhancement / Improvement: Deploying various methodologies to

analyze erection procedures, recommending modifications to minimize deviations.

Erection and Commissioning activities of Pulverizes, Raw Coal Feeders, FD, PA & ID Fans, Seal Air Fans, HRH /

CRH / Main steam Piping, and CCW lines, Lube oil and other miscellaneous piping like Instrument air, Service air,

Equipment On-skid piping.

RESPONSIBILITIES IN SITE/PROJECT ENGINEERING

Studying and interpretation of P&ID and ISO Drawings, Material Inspection with packing list in presence of Quality.

Extraction of scope (Tonnage and Inch dia / Inch Meter) of work from Drawings and planning accordingly for material

and manpower prior to the preparation of Site Plan and Schedule.

Coordinating with all related departments and planning consequently for 3-Month look ahead plan for manpower, Tools

and Tackles, Consumables and Machinery. Maintaining DTS (Daily task sheets) with Man-hours v/s Productivity.

Planning and scheduling for achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets without compromising in Quality and Safety.

Fabrication and Erection, Ensuring the elevation and Centre line checks as per RFC / IFC drawings.

Alignment (Rim face or Rotalign Laser) for the all the Rotary equipment prior to Preliminary and Final grouting.

Trail Runs for the Turbine and other Rotary Equipment, Lube Oil Flushing / Sand Blasting / Hydro test / Pneumatic or

Soap Leak test for air Piping.

Erection of Temporary Steam Blowing pipes for LP and HP pipes, Performing and Monitoring the Steam blowing.

Ensuring the Latest revision of drawings from client and preparation of AS-BUILT drawings.

Carrying out Commissioning activities of piping such as Flushing and Chemical cleaning with coordination of Lead

Commissioning teams.

Preparation for Inspection reports / Protocols stage by stage.

Fit-Up and welding activities for Piping and Taking appropriate measures when welding to be carried out on equipment.
