SIAM Proposal : Consequences of Non-Compliance
• In case manufacturer does not comply with the requirements, the manufacturer may choose one or combinations of more than one options –
1. The manufacturer may adjust the CO2 debits with the CO2 credits earned by the manufacturer in last three / five reporting periods.
2. The manufacturer may re-establish compliance by obtaining new type approval report(s) for any of his models (s) / variant (s).
3. Purchase of credits from other manufacture
4. The manufacturer may pay applicable excess emission premium – Details yet worked out.
