Set SQI Speech Quality Level
Thresholds(SET USQICOUNT)
Function
Use this command to set the RNC-oriented Speech Quality Indicator (SQI) thresholds. There are
four thresholds: EXCELLENT, GOOD, POOR, and BAD. These four thresholds define the value
ranges for five speech quality levels: (SqiExcellentThres, 500], (SqiGoodThres,
SqiExcellentThres], (SqiPoorThres, SqiGoodThres], (SqiBadThres, SqiPoorThres], and [0,
SqiBadThres]. These five levels classify the speech quality into EXCELLENT, GOOD,
ACCEPT, POOR, and BAD. The SQI is calculated based on the Uu interface transmission
conditions. By determining the speech quality level to which an SQI belongs, operators can
estimate the speech quality.
Note
SqiExcellentThres is bigger than SqiGoodThres, SqiGoodThres is bigger than SqiPoorThres,
SqiPoorThres is bigger than SqiBadThres.

Example To set the RNC-oriented SQI thresholds (SQI EXCELLENT Decision Threshold = 4;

Decision Threshold = 1), run the following command:
SET USQICOUNT: SqiExcellentThres=400, SqiGoodThres=300, SqiPoorThres=200,
SqiBadThres=100;
