EXCLUSIVE

Points 1-13: to be defi ned within the GU DOOR ENGINEERING
Door Engineering
The importance of door engineering is often
underestimated during overall planning.
Architectural, design and organisational
guidelines as well as fi re protection, security,
barrier freedom and appropriate escape
route requirements make doors a cross-trade,
complex construction element. The object
"door" has become a highly complex planning
exercise.
The GU project team provides advisory ser-
vices based on functional models and derives
solutions to problems. The solutions take the
necessary standards and the conceptions and
requirements of the planners into considera-
tion and are documented using clear door
confi guration lists.
Based on your requirements we will plan
and find solutions to the interface issue
and ensure that the entire system fulfils
your demands and expectations
We will advise you on functional patterns
and offer you suggestions for solutions to
your problems
We will document our solutions with the
help of visual door configuration lists
(item lists with schematic drawings)
Example: nursery school door
We will define the necessary data for the
required cable management
Our specialist planning will give you plan-
ning safety

Escape door security Retrofi ttable, compact, conforming to regulations and standards
New escape door packages!
New developments in escape door security: The packages
'EVT' (electronically locked touch bar) and 'EVP' (electroni-
cally locked panic lock), in conjunction with the FTNT escape
door control system, secure the door with little installation
eff ort.
Confl ict between regulatory standards solved!
HM-F FT is the fi rst automatic sliding door system to have
an approval for use in rescue routes in accordance with
current directives (EltVTR); the system provides a safe and
convenient solution never before thought possible.
Retrofi ttable escape door monitoring system!
Securing doors without having to lock them additionally is
possible by means of the approach area monitoring system.
The system builds an inhibition threshold which protects
the door against "misuse". It is even approved for use on fi re
rated doors, regardless of the door material.
Everything under control!
All escape doors and their individual security features can be
monitored and controlled centrally with the BKS bus control
panel or the visualisation software.
At fi rst sight the possibility of escaping from a building at
all times seems to contradict the requirements of maximum
protection against burglary.
However, the new system concepts from the Gretsch-Unitas
Group make it easy to meet the ever increasing demands
placed on escape and rescue routes today.

Escape door security
The escape door package: Electrically locking panic lock (EVP)In conjunction with the FTNT escape door control system
New approaches to escape door securityEscape door locking and panic lock in one system
1. The electrically locking panic lock (EVP)
Integration of an escape door locking sys-
tem in accordance with EltVTR, in interac-
tion with an electronically locking panic
lock (EVP) on 1-leaf emergency doors in
accordance with EN 179 and panic doors in
accordance with EN 1125
Suitable for retrofitting thanks to DIN
lock case dimensions
The automatic latchbolt guarantees a
securely locked door even in the event of
a power failure. No need to manually lock
the door
The escape door lock is optimally posi-
tioned at the centre of the door
Additional millings in the door leaf or
frame are no longer required
Reduced number of system components

Consistant further developmentBurglar inhibition, fi re protection and escape route approval
EXCLUSIVE
A SECURY 19 multi-point door lock with
the extra feature of an electrically cou-
pleable external handle is ideally suited
for connection to an access control sys-
tem. This solution is offered for 1-leaf and
2-leaf doors. The external lever handle
is engaged electrically, thus allowing for
electrical access control
The lock's components (latchbolt, levers
on both sides, cylinder cam) can be
electrically interrogated via integrated
contacts
In the event of an emergency, the door
can be opened via the mechanical locking
cylinder (panic function C, e.g. during a
rescue operation)
Fulfils contemporary demands, for
example electrically coupleable, burglar
inhibition, fire protection and escape
door suitability

Approach area monitoring system
Escape door security
Securing escape doors made easyEasily retrofi ttable escape door monitoring system
Approach area monitoringWith the approach area monitoring system, a
door surveillance system was developed that
helps avoid the misuse of a door. It presents
an effective and economic alternative, as
it no longer requires any constructional
changes to be made on the door element.
Protection of doors against unauthorised
opening – the system can be retrofitted
without any structural changes, e.g. on
fire protection doors
Preventative prohibition of unauthorised
entry or misuse of escape doors
Safe escape route: in the event of an
emergency, the escape door remains ac-
cessible
Installation and commissioning in compli-
ance with EltVTR do not require a proof of
expertise
Protection against misuse: visual and audi-
