The following procedure applies in cases you want to order an extended warranty package for a vehicle already delivered to the end customer. Remember that SDF ExtraCare can be ordered: • Until 3 months after warranty activation on retailed tractors • Until 6 months after warranty activation on DEMO tractors

If there are any mistakes or missing data, which do not allow to finalize the activation, the status of the order moves from OPEN to REFUSED In the notes, you can see the reason why the order has been refused. You will need to insert a new order with the correct information to order and activate this license.

SDF ExtraCare
If the order has been accepted, you will find two documents attached to the order: • The «Coverage Sheet» lists the parts covered by SDF ExtraCare with reference to SDF
Parts Catalogue • The «Terms & Conditions» is the official Warranty Certificate, that explains dealer’s and
customer’s responsibilities, lists what is excluded from the coverage and includes the privacy policy
Print two copies of both the documents, sign the «Terms & Conditions» sheet and ask the end customer to sign it as well. Keep one copy in your archive and provide the second one to the end customer, with the exception of the last page of “Terms and Conditions” that is for the Dealer only. Send a copy of the «Terms & Conditions» sheet to the following e-mail address: [email protected] If you don’t send back the signed «Terms & Conditions», the extended warranty will not be activated in SDF Warranty Portal and you will not be able to create warranty claims in cases of failures.

SDF will Invoice to dealers: the invoice is one-off for each service and it will be issued by SDF at the end of the month in which the license has been activated

In case of failures occurring during the standard warranty period, the warranty claims must be created in ADP-SAP portal following the usual procedure, choosing the claim type ZPRE (pre-sale) if the vehicle is still in your stock or ZWTY (standard) if the vehicle has already been sold to the end customer. Once the extended warranty period has started, any possible warranty claim must be created in the same section “Create vehicle claim” of ADP-SAP portal, choosing a dedicated warranty claim type: ZWE1. Be sure to select ZWE1 when you create these claims, to prevent any mistakes claim types ZPRE, ZWTY and ZGDW are locked: if you try to create a claim with one of these three types, you will receive a warning message. The steps to be followed and the data requested by the portal to create a ZWE1 claim are the same as any other warranty claim. After completing the warranty claim with all the required data (in particular ensure that the reason for the failure is described in full in the “Notes and attachment” section), click first on “Simulation” and then on “Save” to create the first draft of the warranty claim and allow the portal to check the data correctness. Now you can create the dedicated ZPWG parts order, clicking on “Create parts order” as usual. The ZPWG parts order is mandatory: ZWE1 claims without the related ZPWG parts order will not be approved! After receiving the necessary parts, you can perform the repair, complete the warranty claim with any further information (the final repair date, the labour hours, etc.) and submit it to request reimbursement with the usual procedure. Please remember that: • A ZWE1 claim must be related to only one failure: it’s not allowed to include more than one
failure in the same claim. The failure and the repair needed to solve it must be described with the maximum level of detail, as well as the part that caused the damage being clearly identified.
• The reimbursement terms for ZWE1 claims related to ExtraCare are the same applied by SDF in SDF Standard Warranty period. Where an excess is applied, for any failure occurred during the validity of this contract, its amount will not be reimbursed by SDF.
Lastly, please remember that, once the extended warranty period has expired, any potential warranty claim can be created as goodwill (claim type ZGDW). Claims related to Campaigns must be created following the instructions explained in the dedicated communications, always using the claim type ZREO even during the extended warranty period.
