This is my backyard under palms painting studio. The wood against the fence is what I collect. I prefer to work with found wood with lots of defects and history. But
I also work with white pine wood.

This is my set up at the April 26, 2008 Bradenton Beach Historic Bridge Street festival. I sold a lot of : BYOB-Paradise ain’t cheap. To the back left there’s Jan of the Sea Hagg. The Sea
Hagg is one of the best nautical stores around. She also collects and sells one of a kind mermaid art.

Sherri and Kevin at the show.
This is artist Tammy L. Barrons. She’s a photographer with a great coastal edge.
Her work fit in perfectly with the
Historic Bridge street coastal sort of
theme.
She also likes boiled peanuts. She’s a
FUN vendor to have around.
Kathy Sparks is a great muralist and beach artist. She can do commission portraits with a coastal, beachy edge to them. These are her smaller works.
She doesn’t have a website yet.
This is some of the new work I sold at the show. The Bar Rules sign is going to live in a bar by the lake. I think it is going to see some good times! The small signs also sold well. They are easy to
ship, bright, fun and all originals—signed. The pelican sign is up for sell in Siesta Key now.http://www.rhondakwrites
After the show, I restocked Cortez’s Star Fish Company.
Then I went to Skinny’s-the best hamburger ever! This is Kelly of the Shabby Caterpillar. She does garden and tile art. We made plans to sell at Simply Put on May 9 with Sherri and a jewelry maker named Jackie. We’re pretty perky
fun girls.
The mermaid doll headed for the DRINK at SKINNY’S!!! Their beer is really COLD.
Sadie the Sales Pug---April 26 was her 2 year birthday. I took her to SKOB-Siesta Key Oyster Bar- to celebrate.
This is the Siesta Key Oyster Bar scene. Fun
people-full pug!
Then back home to pull a sign for a custom order for a Fun family in up North that is missing some Florida!
The work of a tiki bar sign painting Florida Folk artist is NEVER DONE!Good thing I love it! This week I’m working on bait shops…
