from participating in this event, either due to the small number of participants, or
involvement still lower compared to previous years, private companies or local authorities /
central in the activities of NGOs.
As directions for discussion at the event there is a noticeable increase in the number of

• The reduced participation in the fair, as only 31% of the respondents confirmed they would attend to the event. Considering the questionnaire’s reduced rate of return (25%), it is possible that the percentage of those who didn’t attend the event would be bigger.
• Female gender manifests a greater interest when it comes to activities like the Fair organized by Petrom. Considering this, the difference between men and women represents 10%. With an almost double percentage comparing to the male population, the female gender people directed the 2% towards an organization that participated in the Fair.
• Young people are most attracted to this kind of event. The level of involvement decreases along with the increase of the age limit, and an exception is represented by people aged over 50, who manifest an over the average desire for involvement.
• In most of the cases, the people that didn’t take part in the event claim that they have already directed the 2% from their profit. Although it is an event organized by Petrom, lack of time during work-hours was an impediment for 27% of the respondents.
• Regardless their participation in the event, most of the respondents believe in the usefulness of this event. However, when it comes to the maximum on the scale of values regarding the importance of this event, the balance of those who consider this event as being very useful is double when we compare those who participated in the Fair with those who didn’t.

The females’ level of involvement in the CSR events within Petrom is bigger than the males’, as there is a 15% difference between genders.
• “Andrei’s country” and “You too should be Santa Claus” are the projects in which most of the respondents took part (over 78% of those who say that took part in such programs).
• In the general perception of the respondents, there is no clearly defined link between the NGOs activities in general and supporting the civil society. The interest shown for NGOs in general totals 59%, and the support of the civil society totals 70%.

• Petrom employees mainly redirected the 2% towards the health sector.
• Although the necessity of organizing this event was mentioned in an important proportion, 40% of the respondents declare that this fair had no effect on their decision to action in a certain way when it comes for directing 2% of the income.
• Regarding the people that took part in the event, even though they didn’t redirect the 2%, this Fair firstly represented a source of information. The event itself is a method of raising awareness in future and its results can be seen more clearly if it repeats. The main objective of the event can be to signal and involve more in activities for supporting the NGOs.
