Reflection 1
The final step in my entire course of study, the professionalpractice, is a mix of sensations and feelings. I am very proud getting thisone, with energy and many wishes. It would be one of the most specialtimes in my university age. Fears are present, but I have the convictionin resolving all kind of difficulties successfully.About the workshop, I consider this experience as a good opportunity toknow the others feelings and fears, and recognize and reconsider myones. Sharing our expectations about this process is the best way to feelmore comfortable and self reliable, because I realized Iam not the onlyone with doubts, fears and expectations; and thinking that teaching is awonderful life style, not only in the classroom, but also in every place.
Workshop N 2
Refer to the Teaching Stage you have already started and answer thefollowing questions:
1. Do you feel satisfied with your performance as a teacher so far? Take aboutthe things you like and about the ones you dont like.
In my opinion, I consider my performance as a teacher as a mix of sensations. Ican manage the class, but there are some students without any interest in theclasses; it was my biggest challenge. They are students older than the rest, with some behavior problems. I can teach only very basic things; it is arequirement of the guide teacher, it frustrated me very much, some studentslearn, other get bored, for their higher level of English they have, other dontpay any attention, and it is very difficult motivate them.
2. Guide teachers support: How effective has it been during this stage? Why?
The guide teacher support me gave me some students characteristics, teachme how to manage the class and giving me some general advices. It has been
effective, but not enough, because the advice wasnt with the frequency Ineed.
3. Students level of engagement: Do your students enjoy the classroomlearning activities presented? ; What do they say about them?

5/28
At first, I introduce to students some interesting and enjoyable activities,
but they didnt
understand me (my use of English) and they didnt have the disposition
in learning. I realized that, and decide to use more written exercises, and
they are more useful and effective; I can check students learning and
progress easily and successfully.
4. Planning and lesson preparation: What teaching approach do you considerappropriate to students learning style? Which one are you actually using withthem? Why?
I dream using oral instructions and methods, but the reality was usingwritten activities as more successful.
5. Lesson Timing: How much of the planned activities do you actually cover in
each lesson? Is it what you expected?
I covered only few activities I planned every class, the students need moretime in order to develop the exercises and the contents were repeatedsometimes for a better understanding of the contents.
Reflection N 4: The way I feel
I started doing my practice in April. I went to the High School threetimes. In a meeting with other students and the supervisor teacher, Imet the principal of the school. In another day I met the guide teacher
and the class I was assigned to teach. Next day, the teachers strikestarted; teachers of all country fought for their right getting the SAEbond. A month and half after, finally, it is ended because of anagreement between the Government and teachers.
In my case, as a student doing my professional practice, I felt verystressed and uncomfortable with the situation at the beginning, withoutany information about the conflict and its end. Then, as the days wentvery quickly, I decided to plan some ideas for my classes; I planned witha classmate because she is going to teach the same level as me. I hadthe opportunity to contact with the guide teacher some times; he gave
me some instructions about the class and their level of English. That wasvery useful for me.
Nowadays, I hope this final stage will be successful. I love the class; thestudents are very nice and cooperative. About the fears, I guess themain problem would be the students motivation, because of the longtime without classes; and the time, having less time of me majority ofmy classmates to cover the topics related the level, and the steps of the

process.
I realize the situation is not the most perfect, but is a part of thisprofessionbeing a teacher is an very interesting and amazingchallenge..working with young people, and, in a some way,
changing their lives, or trying to do it, at least!!!
Reflective writing
In my opinion, teaching is a challenge very hard. But I love it. At the endof this process, I feel very frustrated with my performance as a teacher. The realities of students make me feel very unsecure and upsetsometimes. Upset with my lack of experience and solutions to apply in
the classroom. I consider this semester as a very stressful, and I realizedteaching is more stressful that I thought. But teaching change lives. Itcan change my life and others. I promise myself improve my attitudeabout teaching in general. I dont want to feel disappointed with mychance in studying Teaching. I love English; I loved pedagogy, but todayit is difficult to feel very happy about my chose some years ago. Butmaybe it is only a temporary stage, to the end, I love to help others tolearn, and contribute to make changes in their lives. I follow trying andtrying to do my best in order to love it, and in feeling proud to be ateacher.
