Term 3 SRC Reps
Hi All,
Welcome Back to Term 3!
It’s looks like this winter is going to be a cold one so please ensure your child is warmly dressed. The Uniform Shop has
lovely warm school beanies and jackets for extra warmth. Please ensure they are labelled as we have had a few go
missing.
Debbie George is currently in the Isle of Skye and I hope, she is enjoying warmer weather than us!
While she is away we are organising Naonal Principal’s Day on Friday August 5th. The School is pu*ng on a free
sausage sizzle for lunch on that day and the students are being asked to write to Debbie to show their apprecia-on for
the work she does for our school.
If any student requires a bus pass to travel with a friend on a school bus we need a wri/en note from the parent the
day before travel so that we can call the High School to check availability as buses are almost at capacity.
The Parent Forum is on Tuesday July 26th
at 2:15, all parents are welcome to come along and discuss any issues and of
course, celebrate and share our successes!
Some students are arriving at school well before 8am. Staff are not legally on duty un-l 8:45, they need that
-me for prepara-on for the day’s learning so please respect that.
We have a free performance on Wednesday 27th
July at 10 am, a show called “NED- Never Give Up”, this focusses on
our school values and resilience in a fun way, a flyer is enclosed in the newsle/er.
Passion Projects are coming up, hopefully students are organising their presenta-ons ready for Thursday 28th
July at
11:30. Please keep that -me free, if you can be part of the audience.
There are many overdue library books from our school library at the moment. Can you please check at home and
return any books you may have please.
A/ached in this week’s newsle/er is a flyer regarding the Murrindindi Bushfire Memorial. If anyone is unavailable to
a/end the workshops but would like to contribute, we also have an online link to the ques-onnaire.

THANK YOU! I would really like to say a most appreciated
thankyou to the amazing people who
volunteered on July 2nd for our school BBQ
and wood raffle. Chris and Xavier cut and split
over two metres of wood Greg Jolly my
gorgeous dad set up and packed away the BBQ
and cooked for the early morning, John Purvis,
Darren & Liz Bastion with two gorgeous boys in
tow, Jo Madden, Karen Anstey, Raelene Garlick.
Without the support from families like these
we just couldn't raise the much needed funds
for all the extras our children receive
throughout the year, this year alone we have
spent a whopping eight thousand dollars on new
books two thousand went to the library and six thousand went to class sets and take
home readers in which I'm sure you agree we are very grateful for. And thankyou to all
the families who supported the BBQ and the raffle by buying up big we appreciate it big
time...
