PRE-PRODUCTION
Proposal/ Treatment: This is where the groundwork for the project is laid out in a detailed document.
Work done on a product, especially a film or broadcast programmer, before full-scale
production begins.
Screenplay: Can be original works or adaptations from existing pieces of writing. In them, the movement, actions, expression, and dialogues of the characters are also narrated.
Storyboard: Is the best way to illustrate staging positions and camera angles for talent and crew.
Production Schedule: The timetable for the use of resources and processes required by a business to produce goods or provide services. A typical business will modify its production schedule in response to large customer orders, to accommodate resource changes, to reduce costs, and to increase overall production efficiency.
Location recce: It is a pre-filming visit to a location to work out its suitability for shooting including access to necessary facilities and assessment of any potential lighting or sound issues.
Production budgeting: A financial plan for items that are in the process of being manufactured. A typical production budget for a manufacturing business will contain an estimate of the number of units that need to be produced in order to meet sales targets and inventory requirements.
