PGAA also sponsors two scholarships for in-
coming freshman that are renewable up to
four years as long as the students meet
the criteria. Funds are also used to rec-
These scholarships are offered to the highest ranking students who apply to Pitt-Greensburg from each of the six public and parochial schools in Westmoreland County that were instrumental in the founding of Pitt-Greensburg in 1963. Those school districts include: Greens-burg Salem, Greensburg Central Catholic, Hempfield, Jeannette, Latrobe, and Norwin.

Pitt-Greensburg’s NCAA Division III athletic teams provide male and fe-male students with equal opportunities to continue their academic and athletic endeavors at the collegiate level. There a twelve athletic teams that make their home at Pitt-Greensburg Our student-athletes maintain a high standard of academic success with nearly 60 per-cent posting a 3.0 or higher semester GPA for the Fall 2015 semester.
