The Petre Mini Show Committee, Wanganui Petre Pony Club Committee, parents, riders and supporters would like to sincerely thank everyone who has helped to make today a success. Without your continuous support the Petre Mini Show would not be possible. The Petre Mini Show has always been a major fundraiser for Petre Pony Club and by running this show the Club has been able to continue for more than 50 years. Wanganui Petre Pony Club holds rallies on Sundays, from August through to April at Tayforth Road, Wanganui. Here we give our children instruction in riding skills and horse management, take part in games, jumping and dressage, go on treks and work towards riding certificates. We regularly have guest Instructors and aim to give our riders a variety of activities and instruction. Our children compete in local, area and national competitions. The Petre Mini Show is our Clubs one major fundraiser every year. With money raised from this event we have been able to purchase new jumps – some of which you will see here today, subsidise our riders on courses and help with the general running of our Pony Club.
