    Explanation of the payload range diagram: Thepayloadrangediagramillustratesthetradeoffrelationshipbetweenthepayloadandtherangeofonesingleaircraft.Thepayloadreferstoallthemassthatistakenbyanairplane,excludingfuel.Thestructureofanaircraftisdesignedinordertobesustainacertainamountofloads.Theseloadsdependsontheamountofweightwhichiscarriedbytheaircraft.Hencethereisavaluefortheaircraftmaximumtakeoffweight,whichcanneverbeexceededortheframewouldcollapse.Oncetheaircraftisloadedwiththemaximumamountofpayload,theamountoffuelthatcanbeembarkedtoflyacertainrangeisthenlimitedbythemaximumtakeoffweight.Oncearrivedatsuchpoint,anyfurtherrangeisachievedonlybyreducingthepayload,whichfollowsanearlylinearrelationship.Still,theamountoffuelthatanairplanecancarryisalsolimited.Thatisthereasonthatatonesuddenpoint,thelinearrelationshipchangesdrastically.
