Student-based Options
Based on your students’ needs and supports, you may choose to have them express their learning using only voice notes, or text, or visuals. But these features are all available:• Customize your page• Add and customize text• Add visuals to your page• Add voice notes

Add a new book
After launching the App, you can tap the “New book” button at the top left of the screen. Or there is also a plus sign at the bottom of your screen. With the free version, you can only create one book at a time. So you will need to export the completed book, and then delete whatever you added to the book.

Choose a shape for your bookChoose the shape of your book from the 3 available options. This determines which shape an individual page will be. Note is that you cannot change the shape of your book once you have chosen in the free version. You would have to uninstall and reinstall the app if you want a different page shape.

Customize your front coverStart by choosing a bright color for the background of the page. The inspector button is going to be your go-to on customizing pages. Tap the 'Inspector' button in the top right of the screen to choose a color for your background.

Add text
Give your book a title. Tap the + icon and choose 'Add Text'. Type your text into the window and press Done when finished.If you need to change or add to the text, just touch the text and it will bring the editing window and keyboard up again.If you make a mistake, you can always tap the Undo button in the top menu.

Edit the text
Tap the 'Inspector' button to access the style menu. Adjust the size, colour, and style of the text.

Add an image
Tap the + icon. You can either choose Camera and take a photo, or you can choose a photo already saved in your iPad photo library.Find the photo you want to use and select it to make it appear in your book. You can then resize it if you wish.

Add a new page
Tap the large + button on the right of the screen, or you can use the Pages button in the top menu.Note: your first 2 pages are already added, so from the cover page, tap the > button to start adding text and images to the rest of your book.
