First Friday Eucharistic Adoration
St. Roch Church will be open
for Eucharistic Adoration on
every first Friday of the month
from 9am—3pm. Chaplet of
Divine Mercy at 3pm. Every
2nd, 3rd, and 4th Friday we
invite you to join our oratory
group to pray before the blessed
sacrament for priests.
Oplatek Christmas Wafers: Available in St.
Adalbert sacristy. $2 per package.
Food Pantry: Our food pantry is open thanks
to the help of the Sisters of St John the Baptist
and our wonderful parishioners. We are cur-
rently making a list of Christmas baskets. If
you would like a Christmas basket, please call
the rectory as soon as possible (718)442-

Giving Trees: Thank you to everyone who
donated to our Giving Trees. May God bless
you for bringing a smile to a child this Christ-
mas.

Baptisms
Baptisms are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00
PM and 2:00 PM in both churches. If you would like to
schedule a baptism, please call the rectory. New par-
ents are required to attend one Baptism class on the
first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM. Our next class
will be held Mon., Jan. 2 at 7pm at St. Roch’s.
Register If you would like to register with the parish, please
call the rectory on weekdays between 9am—3:30pm.
We can register you right over the telephone. Spon-
sor letters for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confir-
mation are only issued to registered members of the
parish.
Wedding
To arrange a wedding at St. Adalbert/St. Roch parish,
consult with a priest at least six months prior to the pro-
posed date and before social arrangements. Attendance
at Pre-Cana and Natural Family Planning Classes is
required.
Anointing of the Sick
Communion to the Homebound
Please notify the Parish Office when serious illness
occurs or when the sick, aged, or incapacitated are
confined to home for an extended period. Arrange-
ments can be made to bring communion to those un-

beautiful Christmas Concert featuring live
musicians and the St Adalbert Choir on Satur-
day, December 24 at 11:30pm in St. Adalbert
Church. The concert will be followed by high
Midnight Mass.
Reconciliation Monday: Will be held on
December 19. Both churches will be open
for confessions from 4pm - 8pm.

Proposed Mass Schedule Changes From January 2017
As you know, both churches have similar Mass schedules. Celebrating
mass at the same time in both locations can, at times, make clergy assign-
ments difficult. The following is the proposed new mass schedule to be-
gin on January 1, 2017.
