Call to Worship (based on Psalm 62) Josh Medicinebird
One: From God comes my salvation.
All: For God alone my soul waits in silence.
One: God alone is my roc and my salvation.
All: God is my fortress; I shall never be shaken.
One: Come, and let us worship God.
Hymn #415 “Come, Ye Sinners, Poor and Needy”
Prayer of Confession and Assurance of Pardon
Forgiving God, we repent of all the ways we turn from you. You
call, but we do not listen; you show us the path, but we prefer our
own way. Forgive us, heal us, and lead us back to you, that we
might show mercy to others. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
The Peace
PROCLAIM GOD’S WORD
Prayer for Illumination Josh Medicinebird Speak to us your word, O God that we may hear Jesus’ call to be his
disciples. Amen.

Sermon “Who? Me?”
Hymn #721 “Lord, You Have Come to the Lakeshore”
Affirmation of Faith
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and
earth,
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived
by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius
Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the
third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from
thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the
communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of
the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
GIVE THANKS TO GOD

their tithes and gifts as they entered the sanctuary. For those joining in

during this time. If you wish to give a tithe or other financial gift, you may
do so by sending a check to the church office (801 Leavenworth St.,

We need your help to continue to provide BREAKFAST BAGS to
the community! In an effort to continue providing our community with
a weekly breakfast which are handed out every Tuesday night with the
community dinner. Initially we prepared 50 bags per week. As the need
has increased, we are currently preparing 70 bags per week. Our
Community Breakfast volunteers have been very gracious in helping
provide food. But with this new demand we need your help in
providing nonperishable breakfast foods. Following is a list of the items
we are in constant need of:
Granola bars, Pop Tarts, Fruit Cups, Juice Cups, Instant
Oatmeal packets, large sized brown lunch bags, plastic spoons,
napkins
You can drop off food to the office anytime Monday-Friday 8:30
