OMAN“OCEANECONOMYANDFUTURETECHNOLOGY"CONFERENCE/EXHIBITIONWILLADVANCEINVESTMENTINOMAN’SOCEANDEVELOPMENTPOTENTIALOmanisInvestinginitsOceanEconomy,InvitingOceanIndustriesandInvestorstoOman,andEngagingtheWorldOceanCounciltoAssistinOceanSustainableDevelopment18January2019Theinternational“OceanEconomyandFutureTechnology”Conferencewilltakeplaceon11-13February2019inMuscat,Oman.ThisgroundbreakingeventforOmanwillprovideoceanbusinesses,investorsanddecision-makerswiththeinformationneededtofosterinvestmentandinnovationforharnessingtheOceanEconomy.Omanisseekingoceanindustryandinvestmentpartnerstoworkwithitscommitmentofsubstantialin-countryinvestmentcapitaltoadvanceoceansustainabledevelopmentofthecountry’soceaneconomicpotential,andhasengagedtheWorldOceanCouncilinitseffort.Oman’sinvestmentcommunityisorganizingtocommitsignificantfundstodevelopingthecountry’soceaneconomy,includingfromtheStateGeneralReserveFund(SGRF),OmanInvestmentFund(OIF),InnovationDevelopmentOman(IDO),OmanTechnologyFund(OTF),OmanNationalInvestmentsDevelopmentCompanyS.A.O.C(Tanmia)andothers.Oman’sOceanEconomydevelopmentwilltargetFisheries,Aquaculture,Logistics/Shipping,OffshoreOilandGas,OffshoreRenewableEnergy,andMarineMining.EachofthesesectorswillbethefocusofspecialsessionsattheOEFTConference.Theconferencewillincludeworkshopstodevelopthestrategicprioritiesforeachsectorandconsiderspecificprojectsinthesethemes,andtherelatedbusinessdevelopment,partnersandinvestmentneedstomoveforward.OceanindustriesandotherstakeholdersinterestedinbeingapartofthegrowthandsustainabledevelopmentofOman’sOceanEconomyareinvitedtoparticipateintheconferenceandtobecomeexhibitorsattheOEFT.MoreinformationonOEFTExhibitoropportunitiesisavailableathttp://ifstd.om/.TheOceanEconomyandFutureTechnologyConferenceisdesignedtoattractcompaniesto
