* Congratulations to Manish Champsee for
Receiving Certificate of Honor from the San
Francisco Board of Supervisors
Manish Champsee moved from Toronto to San Francisco
in 2000. One of the first things that he noticed was how
dangerous the streets were for people who were walking
about. As a result, Manish got involved with a local group
called Walk San Francisco that advocated for safer
streets for everyone.
For 5 years, between 2006 and 2011, Manish was the
President of Walk San Francisco, on that street. He has
decided to move on to other causes at the end of July
2013.
On July 23, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors ( City
Councilors) honored Manish with a Certificate of Honor.
Seven of the Eleven Supervisors spoke about the work
that Manish had done and their experience with him. "I
still remember the very first meeting I heard you spoke
at. The authority and your savvies when it comes to
policy issues, want to thank you for that." said David Chiu,
the President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
"You have definitely made me a better policy maker. You
have educated me on issues around pedestrian safety
and for that I'm very grateful. I do think that it's fair to say
that you have literally saved people’s lives because of the
work you do." said Supervisor David Campos.

conditions of
volunteers is equally difficult. Liladhar Gada’s team has
established relationship with local NGO, which has strong
base
and network. This NGO has been working since 1977.
NGO has selected 15 villages. Housing, farming and
livelihood
Are main problems, which are being faced by people at
the first phase of rehabilitation. SBMA (Shree

of providing temporary livelihood by involving the
beneficiaries to repair their own houses, relevel their
fields and pay cash for work being done to the affected
people.
The Surpunch or Village Head would also engage the
village workers for repairing village roads and schools. The
necessary repair material would be provided from Bhojay
Sarvoday Trust’s Funds. The cost of the first phase of rehab
work will cost Rs. 500,000 ($ 1 Million). The second
phase of rehab work would be decided at a later stage.

Three Things Recruiters Love to
See on a Resume
Three Things Recruiters Love To See On A
Resume, Published June 25, 2013 | By Deborah
If you’re a job seeker you’re probably interested in knowing
what recruiters want to see on a resume. To get attention
and calls from recruiters make sure your resume includes
these three things.
Clear focus. Recruiters want to know this instantly. Start
your resume off with a concise focus statement that tells
the recruiter what you are and your top areas of expertise.
Accomplishments. Since recruiters get hundreds of
resumes for each job opening, they need a reason to call
you rather than your competition who has the same
qualifications.
White space. Recruiters are inundated daily with resumes.
Can you imagine reading resume after resume of dense,
small type? Make it easier for recruiters to find your
selling points by breaking up the text with white space
throughout your resume.
These three issues will help you get attention from
recruiters so that you to get more interviews. Remember,
your resume is usually a recruiter’s first chance to learn
about you. Make it count!
