Authority, or Coopermill Manor LP, and refer a qualified friend or family member
for Coopermill Manor LP and they are accepted, move in and stay at least 6
months, you will receive a $100 Wal-Mart gift card. For an application send
them to the 407 Pershing Road office.
On applications for the Coopermill Manor, LP there is a referral
paper that they will need to complete with your information at the time of their
application.

Trash Collection Trash is to be put out during the following nights for the

collection is done by the City of Zanesville. Do not leave trash cans at the top
of banks of stairs. The City of Zanesville requires that the trash be set to the
curb or at a designated area or they will not pick the trash up.
The Post office will not take requests for Mailbox lock changes from
ZMHA tenants. If you are having problems with your mailbox, please
notify the office before 2:00 p.m. to put in a work order

SENIOR NEWS FOR NOVEMBER
Lunch is served every week M-F at the James D. Singer senior nutrition site at 11 A.M. Lunches are provided by Christ’s Table to
anyone who needs or wants a lunch. You must be 55 years of age to eat at the site and there is no suggested donation price but all do-
nations go back to Christ’s Table to continue offering lunches. If you need a lunch and are under 55 years of age you can go to
Christ’s Table on 6th Street. If you are over 55 and would like to come to the site and eat you must let us know in advance so we can

ACTIVITIES: BOWLING: We will try to go bowling on Thursday November 2 and the 16, the cost $2.00 per game and we bowl (2) games. Bowling is
subject to change. GROCERY BINGO is every Monday morning 9:15 a.m. through 10:15 am at the Singer site and every Tuesday morning 9:15-10:15am at the Maple High-Rise. TRANSPORTATION- Do you need transportation to the grocery, bank, pharmacy, cable, Jobs and Family Services or the post office? Carol takes Coopermill Manor senior residents every Wednesday at 12:30 P.M. and the Maple High-Rise senior residents every Monday at 12:30 P.M. If you live in the Coopermill Manor and would like transportation please call Carol at 740-452-5463. If you live at the Maple High-Rise please be in the lobby area at 12:30. Coopermill residents can go to Pick-N-Save, Save- A- Lot, Wal-Mart and Campbell’s. High-Rise residents can go to Aldi’s and Kroger’s, Wal-Mart Super Store and Pick-N- Save down town every other week. NOVEMBER MONTHLY EVENT– We will be going to Cracker Barrel for the 18th annual Thanksgiving Luncheon on Wednesday
November 8th and then to the country store and the Dollar Tree. As always, transportation will be provided but lunch is on each individual

NOTICE TO AMP 3 (LEASED) RESIDENTS
ZMHA is required to review their Utility Allowances at least annually and establish utility allowances as per
HUD regulation 24 CFR 965.502. ZMHA has reviewed the Utility Allowances and proposed changes are as follows.
The new allowance includes lighting, refrigeration, cooking, and miscellaneous appliances.
These new allowances will be posted for comment September 20, 2017 through
November 20, 2017. Written comments can be made at 407 Pershing Road, Rental Office. ZMHA will commence
using the revised Utility Allowance on December 1, 2017.

Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program FSS is designed to help you set and accomplish individual goals
such as furthering your education, acquiring your drivers license,
obtaining and maintaining employment, credit repair and debt
relief, among others. While you are working on your plan for
achievement the program can offer you the opportunity to earn a
savings account. We currently have families with accounts as big
as$5,000.00 and all the money can be theirs upon completion of
the program and their goals. NEW!: As a current FSS
participant you have the opportunity to earn a gift
for every new person you refer to the program who is
eligible and able to sign up!
