Dear Parents/Guardian Preparation for End-of-Year Examination – Secondary 3 The End-of-year examination will begin from 3 Oct (Tue) to 13 Oct (Fri). The Mother Tongue and English Listening comprehension examination will be conducted on 26 Sep (Tue) and 28 Sep (Thu) respectively. A copy of your child’s/ward’s examination schedule and the school's examination guidelines are attached for your reference. To provide timely and important information for your child’s/ward’s End-of-year examination preparation, we have also included the format and list of topics that will be tested for various subjects during End-of-year examination. All students are required to report to school at the usual timing of 7.20 am if they have been scheduled to take the first paper of the day at 8.00 am. If students have been scheduled to take the paper at a later time in the morning, they must report to school at least half an hour before the start of the paper. If no papers have been scheduled or if the papers scheduled are not applicable, students do not need to report to school on that day. After the completion of the 2017 End-of-year examination, please note that marking day falls on 16 Oct (Mon). Your child/ward need not report to school on that day. From 17 Oct (Tue) to 27 Oct (Fri), your child/ward will have to report to school as usual for post-examination activities/lessons. Please contact the Year Head or Exam Committee IC at 68793930 or send them an email at [email protected] should you require any further clarification:

prior exemption for the component(s) by the examining authority.
2) Special Consideration (SC) and arrangement for sick candidates:
